Big Jon I live in New Zealand and we were singing these songs as "specials" (solos etc.) in church back in 1976 when I got saved. I never knew where they came from. Heard some of them only once in some cases, then 30 odd years later I was still singing them in church (a solo) and in outreaches. Then I got the internet a few years ago and found out they came from the Goodmans and Gaithers!! Praise the Lord. I actually first heard them in Australia in 76 (was born in NZ) but sent to Australia by my parents and got save there. But I believe they are just as popular in NZ as in Australia.
About thirty years ago I fell in love with The Happy Goodman's music, and they are still blessing people like me with their talents that God has given them. I love you all and may God continue to be with their son. And I want to thank the person that uploaded this program.

I fall so far short of what God wants for me. These songs bring me back to where I should be. Howard is now singing I'm going through. I was sitting at the breakfast table next to them and I got to talk to Rusty. ... I'm getting ready to go home now where I will be with all the great and not so great Gospel singers that I have grown to love. Oh what a day that will be when Jesus I will see. ... Boy o boy if only. The Happy Goodmans O what anointing and many others of the old time Gospel singers. I can only thank jesus that we can watch them right on the phones. Some Good preaching and these groups like the happy Goodman I can make it day by day and this year 2017 the end is nearing and we'd better be ready it is getting close Jesus Oh What a Day when I get up there with the old timers and worship praise thank you Jesus oh thank you Jesus amen.
I sn Vestel Goodman 1 time, I felt that it was a blessing that i gt 2 c her, Her voice is of a pure angel... None b 4 or after can fill her shoes....Thank u GOD 4 gven us these wonderful christian ppl 2 send ur message thru.. May GOD bless them...
We were lucky enough to go to their farewell concert in Springfield MO.l We were so blessed. There folks have God in their hearts. They live what they sing. I also bought Vestal's book. What a read! I miss these great folks.
I've probably watched this video 20 or more times. I purchased it through Goodman Family Ministries bout 2 yrs ago. One of my favorites......Howard, Johnny and Vestal give it all they got, and sound superb.Few singers sound as good live, as on their recordings, but i'll tell ya what.....The Goodmans had it going on!! Especially Vestal with those powerhouse vocals at that age (72). Definitely a god given calling on them all.
First song I heard by them was "Guilty of Love in the First Degree". It was on their "This Happy House" album back in the 60's I believe? Have enjoyed their music since that time. Still have that album.

@ Brett Harris, thank you for uploading this video, I am in awe of the Goodman's I just love their singing and ministry. I am from Jamaica and I grew up listening to there music. My father use to travel on farm work in the seventies and would buy there records and take them back home. They are masters at their craft and so awesomely anointed of God, Angels in heaven are going to fold their wings and listen to Vestal take those high notes, what an awesome voice. do you have the 50th Anniversary video can upload I would love to see that one too. Keep up the good work I am truly blessed by it this morning
Can anyone tell me why Vestal Goodman always carries a handkerchief in her hand. I surely will miss her. Isn't wonderful to be able to see them sing. God bless them !!
Kathrynjoyce Mitchell Vestal had a problem with her hands sweating so she always had a hanky, she signed it and gave it to me many years ago and it is stained with her tears and I never will wash it!
