  • Sly and the Family Stone's backing vocalists perform their 1970 Top 5 R&B hit You're The One at the Edmonton Festival, Canada in August 1972.
Little Sister was composed of Vet Stewart (Sly Stone's little sister), Mary McCreary, and Elva Mouton. You're The One, written and produced by Sly Stone and released on his own Stone Flower label, made #4 R&B and #22 Pop in April 1970.
Billed as Family Stone the band featured guitarist Freddie Stone and Cynthia Robinson on trumpet with local musicians.
Film quality is rough but it provides a chance to see Little Sister front of stage and in great voice.

I'm not sure, I know they used pick up musicians to complete the band for this show

Yes, first thing I thought too, compared to the record, which was a great dance record, sides A&B.
