FFCS is awesome and the volunteers at the sanctuary did an excellent job of taking care of all the other furballs while Kris and Janis were out trapping Atticus 😻

You can’t win them all but by god you can win when you give it your all. This is one to be seriously celebrated forever. Never give up, even after you gave up. ❤

I would contradict a little and say you do take in "friendlies". I have TNRed a few real ferals and they are completely wild. They'd never work in your sanctuary with other cats. I've been bitten twice (that got infected and needed antibiotics) and now I have thick gloves, nets, a pop-up tent, a better trap. . . when a true feral gets loose, it flies everywhere, knocks down everything. . . it's insane. You're dealing with the easy TNRs-- the abandoned cats that get scared and traumatized and wary of people. This comment is not to detract in any way what you do. For sure, most community cats in the USA are not true ferals (born outside and no contact with people). So glad for this update. I'm watching the ads :)

I just rescued a kitty, 8 months old, from a friend that they, her and a sister and brother, and moms were placed in someone’s yard. My baby was born around May 2023, and were feral at the time. My little sweetie is the runt of the bunch. At 8 months old, she allows me to pet her, she purrs very loud. Has been spayed, and gets her last kitty shot on Tuesday. She is 6.2 lbs and her siblings are 10 lbs. making ca trip on Monday to get a kitty condo and some toys.can’t wait till Tuesday!
I know you were complaining about the cost of shipping items like calendars and shirts. I am not an American citizen, so I don’t know what I’m saying applies to you but in Canada it is far cheaper to ship via parcel post rather than to use a courier. if you plan on doing this, give people the option of having it shipped free via the mail or they would have to pay the courier cost.

I have 4 rescue cats and have found that the sift litter boxes are sooo much easier than diggin for poop-4 litter boxes-every day!! Excellent work you are doing 👼
