Rock Slope Mesh Installation with Helicopter

This is a rock slope safety improvement project along four slope sections adjacent to US 11/15 in Cumberland County, East Penboro Township and in Perry County, Marysville Borough, for an overall project length of 1.217 miles. Work consists of:
slope devegetation
rock scaling at slope heights varying from 140-250 feet in height
permanent wire mesh protection system placed against rock face & rock bolting
rockfall fence installation & safety barrier in the shoulder area
shoulder reconstruction, milling & resurfacing
drainage, guide rail, signing & pavement marking upgrades
tree removal & trimming along entire limits of work
Urban is performing Construction Inspection for this PennDOT project.
