Update: When using this plan myself I found out that if you need to see a specialist you get a 25% discount, but if you have your general dentist perform the procedure then your billing codes will apply. For example, an extraction could be as low as $60 if your general dentist does it, if not you will owe 75% of the bill to an in-network specialist.
Thank you Eric for sharing this video. You’ve picked out a great dental plan and it’s affordable too!
Thank you for checking out my channel and leaving a comment. I am available should you need anything!
Hi Eric. I truly appreciate all the time you spent with me today going over my insurance options. The dental plan video sounds promising. I'll listen again to make sure i understand it and I'll definitely share this video with my friends and family. Thanks again for all of your help!
Hi Judy! I'm glad the dental insurance video was helpful for you. It's great that you're taking the time to review it again and share it with others. Choosing the right insurance can be complicated, so I'm happy I could explain the options clearly. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions as you're making your decision. Wishing you the best!
Great job!!! Awesome info!!!!
I have 15 extractions to have done, I have the dental plan and they said only 2 extractions a year, I need 15 and dentures. They want $268 dollars a tooth for the rest with no dentures. I need $3484.00 for the other , still no dentures. Anybody know a cheaper way about having this done. My total price out of pocket will be 4,600. still no dentures.
As usual you all focus on routine dental. Meaningless to those of us with teeth problems. We don't need routing cleaning and fillings. It's like recommending HealthCare coverage of routine checkups and flu shots.
Thanks for your feedback. If you watched the video you would have noticed that I went through the types of services covered and it seems to be quite good. Also, this is a non-commissionable product that I own for myself. I could care less if anyone buys this plan, I am just posting this video because I personally like it.
Here are the states as of now: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas
It might have been helpful if you'd let us know which of the only 9 states it covers. It's a waste of time to watch something not open to me.
Here are the states as of now: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas. I am aware of other very good dental plans in other states as well. It is free to work with me. Thank you for watching!
On any dental plan there is no waiting period for cleanings, exams and x-rays. Also they are covered 100%
That's great to know! Regular cleanings and exams are so important for our oral health.
What is maximum they cover ?
Hello Eric, I thought december 7 was my last day to change plans. I need dental work but my AARP medicare advantage UHC plan essentially only gives me consulation and xrays and cleanings. but essentially not much else and I need some extractions by a dental surgeon, etc. I'm figuring it's too late to get dental coverage. Am I right or can I still get good dental coverage. It's december 8 already. I hope you can help me, Thanks...
If you are trying to switch your Medicare Advantage plan for more dental, you can call me at 617-879-9033 and I will be happy to see if there is a 5-star plan or a SEP that is offered in your area that covers additional dental. Also, Medicare recipients can switch their Medicare Advantage plans between January 1 - March 31 during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment period or during the Annual Election period Oct 15 - Dec 7. Otherwise, if you can't get your needs satisfied in an Advantage plan, you will need to purchase a stand-alone dental plan as described in the video.
One has to pay twenty percent of cap out of pocket I hesitate dental procedure s with this copay
The dental plan described in the video does not have any cap out of pocket.
What are the nine states. I am in AZ
Is this just for dental? Or do you have to switch tp an advantage plan?
Thanks for your interest. This is just for dental. You definitely don't have to switch to an Advantage plan.
What I was wondering
How much coverage? What’s the limit? How about implants?
There is no max. You can draw yourself a quote, you will see a lot relating to implants is covered, look at the outline of coverage: www.humana.com/agent/health-insurance-agents/aoalanding?SANID=1754335&isMarketpointAgent=false
Does this plan cover denture implants?

What 9 states?

Name the states first instead of wasting viewers' time
I don't want to have to redo the video each time there is a new state that offers the plan. Here are the states as of now: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisana, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas. I am aware of other very good dental plans in other states as well. It is free to work with me. Thank you for watching!
I have had a advantage card for years with no problems and I’m In my 80s
Dental Plan for Seniors. No Waiting Periods?
Nobody is in business to lose money. So, don't expect to get any benefit out of it.
I don't personally make any money on this product and I own it myself. I think the goal is to find the best plan available. You should run a quote and see if you still think that after reviewing the outline of coverage.
