National Aeromodelling Competition 2022-23 Students - MPSTME

We are proud to announce that 4 students at NMIMS MPSTME have won the 1st prize at the National Aeromodelling Competition 2022-23 held at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Kancheepuram and organised by IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and RVCE in collaboration with Boeing.
This cut-throat competition featured the best Aeromodelling teams across the country. Mentored by Prof. Mayur Marathe, our team overcame 83 other participants in the Mumbai zone to win the competition.
Our team created a model aircraft capable of carrying a payload of 45g golf balls, 43mm in diameter with a drop-off time of 45 seconds.
