Gulls Crash the Corvid Party

Gulls.
Nothing changes the crow dynamic faster than the appearance of seagulls. They’re not high on the crow’s list. Or the jays’.
It’s hard to describe, because the crows always have an air of caution, ready to scram in a hurry, but there’s a lightness when it’s just the corvids and me. Add in the sky rats 🤣, and there’s almost always an overwatch of two crows while one grabs.
It’s taken a while but the crows realize that I’m on their side. If I move toward a gull approaching the ledge, the crows don’t move off. They’ve realized I’m not a fan of the gulls in the yard. Thankfully it’s rare.

@rondegroot1508 Muesli sure is, and I do give them other nuts & grains periodically, and you're right, they love that. But the shelled peanuts, they mostly cache and hide them for later with an occasional eat on the spot.
