I had been on EMUI for almost 7 years & the software experience is phenomenally fluid. Never slowed a bit. I really miss all those EMUI interface experience, as I had moved into a motorola phone recently.
Software is the issue with these phones why try copy iOS when the best thing about android is android itself. If I wanted an android that looks like iPhone I’d just get an iPhone.
Fun fact , dynamic island was first introduced by honor v20 years ego and the feature was called capsule pill. The implementation was the same only difference was the punch hole cam In the top left side of the screen.
An android that has a UI reminiscent of an iPhone is still an Android and has all the strengths of one. Side loading amongst other things on an iPhone are just things you're better off staying away from.

I think Huawei & Honour phones have that iOS copy skin because the phones are meant for Chinese market, and people probably like iOS copy skins over there since all major android smartphone manufacturers have iOS copied skins - Xiaomi's MIUI, Meizu's Flyme OS, Huwae/Honor's EMUI & only recently Oppo & vivo started moving away from copying iOS but the inspiration is still there in Colour os & funtouch os respectively
They would be mocked if the copy was too obvious lol. I personally think that it is such a good thing that they are trying to match the smoothness, stability, and aesthetics of Apple. Not a lot of Android brands are doing this (shout out to Samsung who still can't make proper transition animation and fast charging😡)

Not sure how to describe it, but it's almost like your gesture and the response of the phone does not really match from time to time, and that uncertainty really impacts the confidence (?).

Being honest, honor's launcher is better than Samsung's (at least it has a vertical app drawer), but it's all of the system UIs like the control center, notifications shade, lock screen and etc that is too iOS like.
i would be happy with the regular magic 6 if they would release it global but right now only the pro it's global and it's too much for me and i will stay with my tiny Zenfone 9 for now
I hate bigger batteries since it requires more energy to charge up, when a literal iPhone can do it for less. I wish that more android phones were more efficient and didnt have big capacity batteries.

Lol, this thing's much larger battery capacity still charges itself faster than the much smaller battery capacity on any iphones, even though the charger omission in Honor's box is ridiculous. Plus, every phone's battery capacity degrades over time, might as well have a bigger one then.

This is a great price as a flagship, albeit not a flagship killer. Most flagship killers only relevant in cpu performance but sucks everywhere else, especially camera department.. not to mention ip rating, drop resistance, software support and so on

First off, it's not difficult to smoke the performance of the pixel 8 pro. Lol. No offense, the tensor chipsets are less than scintillating. Secondly, this phone does have unbelievable specifications but, the design language is absolutely awful. Especially, the camera housing on the back. Finally, some people may not be aware of who the parent company of this company is but, I know. Furthermore, that parent company is a huge risk to the national security of this country. To that end, I am more than happy to purchase my devices elsewhere.

Unfortunately, while I can purchase the global version of this in Canada, it is actually more expensive than the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Also, the telephoto camera fall flat, even with the high MP count. It just doesn't keep up with the other phones. Also wish Honor was better with software updates. Otherwise, solid but not sure it's worth the import hassle due to the above.
It doesn't matter to me if this phone isn't available in the US. I'm happy with Oneplus here. Better software, works with US carriers, and includes a charger in the box for a decent price.

Fantastic hardware but fugly sofware. Way too similar to ios interface, which I don't prefer as ios itself is fugly. More chinese oems should realize that ios should NOT be the gold standard to base your interface on.

Descent device with excellent build quality and camera, however, the fingerprint scanner position is awful, curved screen is not my favorite tbh
