Mercenary Tao is the guy that was screaming. Goku him blew up with a grenade when he was a kid. Him appearing in front of him instantly as a much stronger adult would be a shock.
“Broly’s power is maximum” is an ancient meme based on a photo of a young boy’s school assignment describing his favorite character and a crayon illustration. Who do you like? Why do you like? Broly. His power is maximum.
The guy screaming when Goku showed up was somone Goku fucked up when he was a kid so when he shows up it scares the shit out of him because he remembers Goku kicking a grenade in his face 😂
Vegeta: and who is this scrawny puke? Broly: I'm a foot and a half tall in you but whatever. Vegeta: what was that? Broly: I said I can't hear you from down there?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Loner_Mike98 Original Broly has his fans, but I always hated him. That said, I love how much Super improved him. Before, he was just stupidly strong. But now he's stupidly strong, and has a character actually worth giving a damn about.

Yes, the gay wedding was Korin & Yajirobe x) they have been having that storyline in the background for the past few movies, last time in Super Android 13 they were buying them wedding gifts, and here Korin mentions Yajirobe not having his best man for the ceremony and they talk about their honeymoon Also funfact about that song at the end, it was sung by Lanipator, who also plays Vegeta, Piccolo and a bunch of other people and he apparently did this in one take haha

8:09 that's a guy Goku fought when he was a kid in Dragonball. Goku hit back a grenade he threw at him which exploded in his face, which is why he's got cybernetic parts on him
The joke that Goku thought Divorce was food or a synonym for eating, recalls back when chichi wanted to marry Goku and Goku thought the exact same thing but it is actually canon.
Fans of Team Four Star kept asking for them to do Broly, and they werent going to do it because it was really hard to write good considering the stupid idea of Broly being mad all these years from Goku crying. But they sat down and finally figured it out. Thats why at the end they said "there Broly is done" dont ask anymore". Great reaction ladies
Basically goku was like 12 or 13 when he fought Tao and goku blew him up i think and he’s a cyborg now and goku appearing now in current time is insane to him 😂😂😂
This version cut out several scenes jumping from Goku arriving straight to the Broly fight. It works for what they did with it. The original itself was the longest of the original movies and had great animation and action but the story was always basic at best.
I assume the idea of Saiyans being a minority is because the guy doing the interview has never heard of them before. And because he's never heard of that ethnicity before, he's presumptuously labeling Goku as a minority. In Abridged, the only time Vegeta ever said Goku (I believe) was back on Namek, when he was explaining Goku's name to Captain Ginyu. Because Ginyu was confused when Vegeta kept calling him Kakarot, while everybody else was calling him Goku. In the actual show, Vegeta also said Goku once, when looking for Goku out in space following Namek. Because Vegeta knew that if anybody had seen him on another planet, they would know him by Goku, not Kakarot.
21:30 Vegeta literally summed up how every single DBZ fan feels about Z Broly He's such a cool, badass character... but his motives are SOOOOOOOOO G*DDAMN DUMB
Yup in the actual movie Broly's whole beef with Goku is the crying thing. Well he made Broly cry and some people who were watching them said some hurtful words too. But yeah really dumb reason.
The idea of a man marrying a cat was probably just too weird for it to register mentally. Even though Abridged had been building up their relationship for quite some time.
Yes. By the absolute technical definition of the word "minority" saiyans are the most minor of minorities, there's only 5 full blood saiyans left in the universe at the beginning of this movie.
Yes, Saiyan's (as in people from the Saiyan race) are a minority. There are only 2 full blooded ones (Goku and Vegeta) and two half blooded ones (Gohan and Trunks), as of this moment in the series, on planet earth. Remember freeza genocides the whole race (or believes he did) when he blew up planet Vegeta
@ThyBait the jokes are all based on the original Dub script, which is completely different from the Japanese script. The only real bad dad goku moment was goku giving cell the senzu and not realizing gohan doesn't love fighting the way he does, which he tried to correct immediately
So because you never watched Dragon Ball Z you watch the Abridged Version of the Broly Movie?🤨🤨 Instead of just watching from the beginning or watching the Original Version?
Mercenary Tao is the guy that was screaming. Goku him blew up with a grenade when he was a kid. Him appearing in front of him instantly as a much stronger adult would be a shock.
He also came back as a cyborg thinking the enhancements would help him destroy a young adult Goku. He didn't make it past Tien.
And the screaming is because in a couple episodes of DBZ, we saw how traumatized he was by Goku and his friends.
I love how Tao Pai Pai went from almost killing Goku to becoming the punchline because of the power level scaling
Goku met him again as a super saiyan in a filler lmao and gohan spooked him lmao it was hilarious
@@shenrondragon4262 That was a fun episode. Especially with how helpful, and friendly Goku's guard wound up being.
“Broly’s power is maximum” is an ancient meme based on a photo of a young boy’s school assignment describing his favorite character and a crayon illustration. Who do you like? Why do you like? Broly. His power is maximum.
That’s actually adorable
You know. I hope he’s doin well in life
"He's the Legendary Super Saiyan"
"but why is it kind of green?"
"because it's LEGENDARY" LMAO
It's as good of a reason as any other.
18:14 "you're not dealing with the average Saiyan warrior anymore" It was what Vegeta told Frieza every time he thought he had reached Super Saiyan.
they didnt know what it actually looked like or what it was so they didn't know it was a transformation and not just a power level.
19:41 - Yep full-blooded Saiyan's names are indeed kind of based on vegetables:
Kakarot - Carrot
Raditz (Goku's Brother) - Radish
Bardock (Goku's Father) - Burdock
Broly - Broccoli
Paragus (Broly's father) - Asparagus
Vegeta - Vegetables
Also, vegeta's brother Tarble. Also vegetable

I love how in this movie Vegeta embodies how the fandom feels about Broly: He really is so cool, but also his backstory is dumb as fuck.

“All Hail Princess Trunks!” Vegeta this entire was hilarious. You two have to check out the Dragon Ball Super movies.
Princess trunks is one of my favorite jokes in the whole series.
"That man will be the death of me"

Man, watching the abridged versions of these movies without watching the original just does not compare.
Ohhhh this is a classic. Me n the homies got running jokes from this show that goes for years
You guys should watch DBZ so the jokes actually land and stick throughout this abridged series.
North Kai is King Kai
Each of those lower level Kais has a quadrant(spoiler maybe)
they are all under the Supreme Kai who has the whole universe
human beings in a mob, whats a mob to a king, whats a king to a god, whats a god to a non believer" is from No Church in the Wild by JAY-Z Frank Ocean and YE
Broly hating kakarot for crying is a English dub thing only. In the sub he sensed his power and saw him as a threat to him.
Why would broly feel a threat from goku pl? That doesn’t make sense
*doubt*
@@ThyBait because he's insane.
@@ThyBaitthat scene when goku challenged him for no reason

The real hilarious part about this whole A version of the movie, is how close to the actual movie it is x'd
8:10 Toa is an old DB villain, there's a deleted scene with Pilaf.
Saiyans are minorities because goku and vegeta were the last ones at the time. 😂And gohan a half
"Princess Truuuunks" that scene gets me everytime
Please, no!

I’m pretty sure saiyans are straight up endangered. There’s only been a handful after Frieza genocided them.
Does make for a good TFS "what if" if Goku Instant Transmission Cell on to New Vegeta. They used something similar in the Reboot Brolly movie.
