brother, this was GREAT. I am so glad that I ran into this video/or maybe it ran into me. what I was supposed to SEE...Fred Wesley did those horn arrangements on the SOS band #1 R&B hit. TAKE YOUR TIME... if Music Arrangers got royalties on the music/songs, they arrangements help make BIG HITS/as they should have DECADES AGO. Fred would have been a millionaire coming out of the 70's.

I wish the interviewer would mute himself and let Mr. Wesley talk more... He ruins the continuity of the whole exchange.

Yes that is sad but true their is no instruments in today's music and that is what I will tell young people the ear want to hear good sounds the only time your ears hear good sounds is a movie score. Scores are written by one or more composers under the guidance of or in collaboration with the film's director or producer and are then most often performed by an ensemble of musicians - usually including an orchestra (most likely a symphony orchestra) or band, instrumental soloists, and choir or vocalists - an example of music (sounds) the ear never heard before was Machine gun on Band of Gypies by Jimi Hendrix December new years1969-70 The Isley brothers paid tribute to Hendrix because they deleted him in 1970 with 4 dead in Ohio( machine gun) live, behind the Kent state massacre.
