    1. Perspective - what different perspective can I look at this situation from?
    2. WTOH - What's the opportunity here?
    3. Exercise - Run/workout which will release dopamine (feel good chemical)
    4. Journaling - Take out your journal and write your heart out and release all the emotions you have
    5. Nature - Connect with the nature, go out in the nature

    "it could be worse" makes people feel that their sadness is invalid. Sometimes you need to accept the reason rather than pushing it down by saying it could be worse.

      Yep, in the extreme "it could be worse, you could be [dead or in maximum pain, whatever you happen to think is worse]".

      precisely.. I fell into a vicious cycle of repressing terrible emotions because "it could've been worse" and feeling a lot of resentment because I was unable to release that negative energy. really agree with your comment

    I really, really wanted this job.. I wanted it SO bad! I got through the testing part and they invited me to the interview and they told me that my test results were great! But I didn’t get through the interview part.. and today I lost myself. I cried and was lost, sad, angry and dissappointed. This video came as a blessing to me. I went out for a walk in nature for the whole day. I took your words very seriously. Now I feel better, thank you :)

    I love the clarity of thought in this video. Especially the "pharmacy of mastery", great metaphor for exercise, movement and physical massage.
    Another method of shifting from a bad day to a good day is serving others which is something that you regularly encourage :) As you teach, there is something primitive and holy about forgetting yourself and focusing on the wellbeing of others.

    Every time I face difficult situation, I get upset for some time, then I decide not to take it anymore and tell to myself " it's not the end of the world".

    yesterday was the worst day ever ... I got a bad degree in my exam and I worked very well when I noticed my grade I started to crying *and I'm not that kind of persons * so that disappointed me ... after that I remember a saying in Quran it's meaning is that when ever bad things happen to you believe it results a good thing ... if you NOW hate something you will thank God later on for it .. so, .. thank you master Robin 💙💙💙

    Low energy feelings. Never would of thought of it that way. I do that when I have a day I don't feel my best. Don't feel like going outside. But maybe that is what I need. We think things are bad. But in reality it really isn't. Great video ty. 🙂

    I write notes on my phone when I'm feeling down. The next day when I read what I wrote I get surprised at all that stressful way of thinking! Haha! I get some great ideas when I feel that way. In darkness one's roots go deep. And if one's is also meditative height will be reached as well. I read an Osho quote yesterday in regard to this. He was referring to ecstasy though. Anyway one has to manage desperation as well as ecstasy. Osho's quote ran like this: "Ecstasy is a movement towards the height and your meditation is a movement towards the depth. And once you have both, your life becomes a celebration."

    I had a bad day today at work, I couldn't stop my tears and cried in front of colleagues. I have been always strong woman but today I couldn't be even strong enough to hold tears. Now I am back to my room even feeling more bad that there is no one to ask me how's your day, or I could share how bad was my day today.
