Good video mate always enjoy your videos, I use the same pva as that but instead of using just crushed boilie try add a little glug or matching liquid to dampen it down it makes it much better and adds a bit more attraction
Richard Powell I use it dry mate in this video as it was a really weedy lake and a dry stick is quite buoyant so sinks slowly to rest on the weed. I usually use the Richworth S-Core serum in my sticks on a clear bottom 👌
Well done Simon, never any doubt, great vid, just a shame about the road noise, hope it was quieter in the dark hours! Looking forward to the next one, tight lines!👍
glenn Chuckle cheers buddy yeah the road was bloody noisy unfortunately which I couldn’t get away from. Definitely quieter at night but still didn’t sleep much 🤷🏻♂️
carp ecosse yeah it’s great mate they do a bigger size too so lots of options but I really like the small size as it doesn’t cut down casting distance etc
What a treat for a Saturday night, a new video from Simon. Enjoyed how you approached a new water, spot finding, rigs, bait presentations etc. Clearly explained & the thinking behind it, nice. Equally as nice is the amount of bacon your cooking up there champ, must have been an awesome sarnie? Just for clarity, do you prefer a red or brown glug with that? Lastly, top angling again Sir, with the cheeky 20lb caught overnight. I hope you have an enjoyable & successful time on the rest of your road trip & I look forward to the next instalment. Tight lines buddy. 🎣🐟🐟🐟
Hi simon I’m old school been carping 40 yrs 😱. So you’re tactics to me are not what I look to. To the new carpers to the sport tho I think they are well explained and videoed. What has impressed me is the fact that you have continued to improve each an every time on your dialog and video skills. I fully understand the time it takes to produce these vlogs. Effort ,hard work ,dedication and the ability to learn especially by your mistakes which are not always obvious to the watchers. So hats off to you mate very well done 👍. Just watched No.1 2019 road trip orchid lakes. Fished there myself and can be difficult at times. Looking forward to No. 2. 👍
always look forward to your uploads very very inspiring. im just getting into the vlogging but i aint a patch on yourself. how did you start off ? Im just using my mobile and a selfie stick. feel free to check um out, any feedback from yourself or subscibers would be appriciated.Lee callaghan carp angler.
Lee Callaghan cheers mate I just went and bought a camera and started doing it tbh. There’s loads of info online and TH-cam videos to help with things like editing etc. I’m still learning and upgrading gear but that’s half the fun 😉 I’ll have a look at yours mate 👍

Another excellent video Simon. Please can you tell me what light you use for night shots? Looking for a decent one as my night photography is awful.
Jim Wocha cheers mate. I just use a cheap 96 led panel light from eBay. It’s like a rhino beam but half the price 👌

Your in 1 ov 4 best swims look at the catch reports certain pegs a always produce
Nigel Jinks I tend to think if I find the fish then any swim on the lake could be the “best” one 👍
Sorry, you can drive safely with your rods where they are?
Not sure I understand the question?
Great vid thanks for the effort you've put in there. Editing certainly takes a long time which I've found out in my first film which I've just posted

Haha cheers mate yes that was a lot of bacon! I had to eat it all as I had no way to keep it fresh so a whole pack in two sarnies with red glug!
Nice video mate. Out of interest which of the three spots came good for you? Keep it up 🤘
Cheers mate, it was the left hand rod on the reeds
