Still cant believe they put lead acids in these models. A lot will end up in land fills after ~2 years of use. Green AF!

The majority of the components of this mower, especially the lead acid batteries, are fully recyclable. So there is that.

The real question is where do I find that air cooled jacket you've been wearing?

Indeed 😂. Affiliate link here amzn.to/3DDfFP3
I'm 6 feet tall 36 waist. That jacket I am wearing is 3x. I may buy another but it will be 4x. It's interesting and worth the money I say. The sizing is wonky tho. Edit: looks like 3x is as big as you can go :/

can you tell me if this upgrade to lithium helps make the mower blade motors more powerful? I bought one of these mowers used to repair and ive read the mower struggles with long or damp grass.

It depends, but the answer is "yes, somewhat". Think about the overall power. The mower has a 125A fuse. At 48 volts nominal that's a bit over 5kW of power. For two blades and the wheels to share, that's not an impressive amount of power. Even in my video you see where the mower struggled. Many of my previous mowers struggled on that part of my lawn anyway, so it's not just this mower... With that, if you want performance you need to pay for it. Ego has a great zero turn mower but I feel, while it seems to be well powdered, it is under sized on energy capacity capability. The best turn key bet on electric right now is the green works Optimus Z with the 24kWh battery. But that's over 20k USD... Mean green mowers has great choices too. All in all, you get what you pay for. Long and damp grass are a struggle for most mowers to begin with unless you pay for that power. When you pay for the power with gas, the mower is often less money but fuel cost is silly. With electric the mower is expensive but the fuel cost is usually very inexpensive and can be actually zeroed out of you build a solar system/battery backup etc. I recommend signature solar dot com for that. They are great

@TRYtoHELPyou Thanks, yes, I went solar 4 years ago and don't pay for my electric.
I have converted golf carts to lithium and experienced the. Power gains due to no peukart effect And realize On paper, it looks like this would help But I was looking for real world experience feedback also the actual voltage should be higher at about 51-53v with Lithium

You could try to take the server rack apart to fit it into the mower
