- After Supercars Sunday by HR OWEN Lamborghini, a Huracan Performante was crashed into a tree in London.
The driver is ok, but the car was totally destroyed.

TBH, the fact that the car crashed happen within a 20mph zone show's the lack of consideration the driver has for others and thank goodness no one was walking on that side of the pavement.

@Jonathan Bowen yeah with this camera angle wee can miss some details like cold tires as you said but I think he was just doing a show off and not focusing on the driving
In almost every crash like this one, the driver disconnects the stability & traction control to demonstrate some wheel spin to the onlooking crowd. True the tires were probably cold, but these nannies are supposed to save you while it is raining let alone on a dry day. So I am almost certain he turned off these systems off. Also the crash happened right after he touched the brakes to slow down as he ran out of street, which is a common tale of car suspension is loaded and car moving fast then the driver abruptly lifts off or worse hits the brakes and weight shifts forward and the car back end will instantly become very light and swings out and the driver is not ready or quick enough to counter steer. He would have been better off with all nannies off, and he can’t handle the car is to continue to apply the brakes and very firmly to stop the car, as the next best thing if you can’t avoid or stop a spin is to brake very hard to slow car down or stop it.

Super light weight car with a powerful engine & cold tyres = like driving on ice. I was in the same type of car last week and experienced how light it was off of the mark and how much it slides even when 4WD . Thankfully the tyres were warmed beforehand
