Mamie by Blind Boy Fuller, fingerstyle with vocals

Why I could hear the feedback only through my phone (after posting online) and not during three hours of mixing on a laptop with decent monitors I'll never know. I also thought I EQ'd out frequencies above 14K. I wonder if this has something to do with the recording sounding a little weird, a little quacky.
standard tuning, key of A, on my Recording King RO 318. difficult song, but worth it. my favorite Fuller song.
