As an RN I cannot agree with you more regarding the financial drive of the current medical monopoly that strives to impoverish Americans. What you do is a great service to mankind. May I suggest you put this information in a book so if the access to Internet is ever disrupted, it will be available for use. Thank you again.

Yes the medical industry is just that , an industry. Like all industries their main concern is maximising profits, that's why doctor treat the symptoms but not the underlying illness.
This boneset plant sounds a lot like the comfrey herb,
The word comfrey means bonenit in anglo-saxon.
I have used organic comfrey ointment many times with great success.

I'm so glad I came across your site. I live in South Carolina in a small 2 lite town. My land has a spring fed creek running thru it and I have a huge hill behind me. I have been learning plants on my land and harvesting, drying and making tea. I have wild ginger, plantain broad and narrow, blk berries, black cohosh, violet's, Smilex, curly leaf dock, cleavers, Chickweed, henbit, purple deadhead nettle, passion flower, purslane, American beauty berry, elderberry, wild lettuce, allheal or self-heal, milk thistle, milk weed. There are more that I haven't identified. I think I have golden seal. If that's the one that grows up as a short stalk. Your enthusiasm shines thru with every video you do. It's nice to see someone appreciate nature and see the value of it and we are all connected to it. The creator of earth is very pleased too.

After the self-heal vid, I'd picked a load and it was sitting in water on the windowsill. My daughter made a rare appearance and when I asked her "what do you know about this plant?"
She glanced at it "That's Prunella Vulgaris!"
    Smartarse.
Her mother has probably thousands of Latin plant names readily available but she is or was a professional.

I know this video is really old, but would you consider making a video showing the step by step on how to pick and use this plant. What exact parts of the plant do you use? Just the flower? Only the leaves? Do you crush it up after drying? etc...

Owned and ran a Natural Health food store for over 20 years. Bonset tincture was one of my favorites.. Was called by the Indians 'Break Bone Fever' plant, cause it was so good for the flu and the achy-break feeling you have with it. I sold so much of it and my clientel loved it so much. Most had never heard of it. That and Blue Vervain, both for flu. Love this wonderful plant. I live in a desert so I can't grow it here well.. or I would. I make this tincture all the time. Thank you for your concise and information based tutorials. Watching all of them.

I always feel like it stimulates the lymphatic process, somewhat like cleavers. And it seems to be super good at maximizing the phase where antibodies are produced. I use it not immediately but about 1/3 to 1/2 way through the viral infective process.

@@LearnYourLand you are truly doing amazing work...the Light is prevailing because of brave folks like yourself. I have been a "let's go for a walk in the timber kinda gal my whole life but just in the last few years have I been making teas@ tinctures and my new thing-homemade vinegars of all sorts for cleaning@ cooking@ hair wash, etc. I also cured my 80 year old Dads "COPD" symptoms that began aa few days after he and Mom decided to get the j-a-b in 2021....I had him drink a mullein infusion twice a day and after a month he went from 4 nebulizer treatments a day (that didn't help much any way and gave him increased and irregularheart rate) one day he said "I think I've had enough tea, I don't think I need it anymore."💔 My mom died of a massive heart attack 2 weeks after that j-a-b, I wish I had been more tuned in to her symptoms better but even though I was opposed to what they were doing I had no idea just what devastation it was causing on the human body.
Anyway, all of thst really sparked my interest and passion for earing better, growing my own food, making my own tinctures, and drying my own spices ans seasoning that I grow. Now, I need to better acquaint myself with what naturally grows around me that I can make use out of and and share with those around me.
Your ethics and passion are inspiring! Thank you for sharing your gnosis with all of us! If you are ever I. Northwest Illinois and want a tour of the lands around the Mississippi river...just holler!
      Much love and blessings ♡

I’ve been looking for someone with extensive knowledge on plants. You seem to fit that bill. I’m trying to incorporate what you do with your landscape plants, but I’ve known I was severely allergic to poison ivy, oak, and sumac since I was a kid and ended up in the ER after being exposed to campfire smoke from wood that was pulled from some poison ivy. More recently, (I’m 38 now lol), and moved to central Indiana very excited to get into a more active role of herbalism. Well, I was poked by a weed in the yard, and within 30 seconds or less I was having a severe reaction. Only 2 thorns from the plant locally known as “bull thistle” and is EVERYWHERE! It’s also known as milk thistle from what I’ve read. Milk thistle is a well known plant that’s used in herbalism, and doctors won’t answer my questions, because it’s more of a holistic inquiry I guess? They prescribed me an epipen and sent me on my way.
What I’m trying to find out is that what other unsuspecting plants I should be wary of. I’d like to pursue my interests and grow my knowledge, but it’s been 3 years now, and I’m afraid to walk in my yard. Is there a common trait that plants like this share? Can I use this or any other info to make a list and become familiar with plants to avoid, but still benefit from all of the other plants nature provides? I love your video, btw! Subscribed for sure! Love your vibe! Thanks so much!

Adam, I found you again on Ytube. For some reason you had dropped out of my feed. But, anyway, I refound you again a few weeks ago, and I am elated to have done so. BTW I know that refound is not really a word, ;) thank you my young friend for all you have done and are continuing to do in your educational journey in teaching US. I can't get over how a 16-year-old young man can have a brain full of useful knowledge. Yes, again, I know you are not 16, but you surely look like you can't be a day over. I live on the West side of Illinois and so far every single plant you have taught about, we have here. I was super excited a few days ago to have discovered a nice healthy grove (young) of Sassafras trees. We are just North of their stated range, and I was super-duper excited to have found them. Sadly, the property owner that happens to be the LDS Church is NOT interested in preserving this glorious plant. I all but begged the manager of the property to either protect it until the fall when the berries are ready to collect and or transplant some of it to its natural areas where it can thrive and be protected. However, I was met with a stern NO. It is so very refreshing to see a young person who not only has the knowledge but the desire to teach and to share all you can to help us grow and learn and learn to grow.
