Just wrapped a Local GT as Ironstorm BT. Every game was a nail-biter that only was determined in T5. Lack of reps with the list led to mistakes that cost me each game. Needed a lot more practice on timing my drops from the transports. Get those reps in and even a casual list can punch above its weight.

Yeah, it definitely was prevalent in the beginning of the video when I started talking, but ceased a few minutes in. Still some work to do on the sensitivity of Alex's microphone -- not sure what the deal is, as we both use the same mic. Mine is a hair quiet (and very nearly maxed out settings) and Alex has ultra sensitivity. But when we test it in the room prior to the stream starting, we cant tell. So maybe its Discord. We'll keep working at it, we promise. ~Bob~
Awesome show guys! Got some gems of knowledge there esp on which characters to run and also the risk and rewards on running impulsors vs land raiders esp from mid table to top tables. Love it guys❤ keep all that BT goodness coming! Esp before the next bal dataslate which I feel we are going to get hit hard by the Nerf hammer .
Feeling the love for the Terminators. Had a recent game against Grey Knights using Abor the Witch (only time to really use this vow). The Dev wounds activating on a 4+ from thunder hammers is a bit silly in this vow. Dreadknight’s didn’t stand a chance!
I love my infiltrators and for fun games I whip out an Astraeus Super tank in BT because it's cool Model and I get to laugh as it snipes tau :D a very funny 550 points of super tank but I regret nothing.
Surely helbrecht and sword Bros don't get dmg2 vs c'tans and -1 dmg units? Sword Bros is +1 to dmg characteristics and not just 2 extra dmg afterwards like melta is.
Not against - 1 Damage because subtraction happens after addition. But against half damage, yes. Division modifiers happen before addition. So base damage 1 ÷ 2 = 0.5 - > round up to 1 then 1+1=2 ~Alex
@@ImplausibleNaturethe only concern I have is with the pdf index (I don’t know if the codex says otherwise) the ctan ability reads “Each time an attack is allocated to this model, halve the damage characteristic”. Honestly I could see it going both ways because with this statement it seems like this ability takes effect when the wound roll(of a 2 damage power sword) is passed. I REALLY do hope I can keep my extra damage with the swords. Thanks for putting out BT content, it’s really awesome!
Great video with great information. But please turn off your microphones when you're not talking. You constantly hear someone breathing or drinking from their cups. Super annoying.
