This song was supposed to be on the recent album then matty broke up with his girlfriend and was conflicted so they had to pull it out and make When We Are Together in 2 days before the deadline. He says there are plans to release this song once they get it right

I'd love it if they created like an 'alternate versions' album where we'd get official releases of the demo versions of it's not living, it's about time (the 1975 BFIAFL) and unreleased songs from the other albums like this. Funnily enough, the unreleased demos all seem to have a similar vibe.

Look up Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye & see if you hear a similarity? And then The Commodores nightshift this song is definitely influenced by these 2 motown songs I mentioned.. I love 80s music that's why I like the 1975 so much but it has became a bit obvious with a good few of their songs now that it isn't entirely their own ideas.

There is a song that reminds me of INXS too. But I think they are always honest about their inspirations.

If David Bowie or Marvin Gaye were alive there would be a definite lawsuit for copyright.
LOVE ME by the 1975 is a complete rip off by David Bowies Fame 90 version from the movie pretty woman. As soon as I heard it I was like OMG rip off. Then This Feeling is sexual Healing and the Commodores nightshift rip off then Need someb to love is Phil Collins Don't lose my number & Don Henley The Boy's of Summer. Every song is a sound far too close for comfort but obviously this generation that doesn't know all older songs mentioned doesn't make it OK. I've never came across a band who has so many song that are complete rip offs to 80s classics.
