I didn't know what "cap" meant...
Had to look it up.
Someone commented that on one of my posts.
And I get it...
It's easier to think someone is lying than it is to consider that they might be telling the truth.
Why?
Because then you can make excuses and convince yourself it isn't possible.
Makes you feel less bad about your situation.
Harsh truth:
You're less than you can be, and you probably know it.
When I first heard that several years ago, my initial response was to get super defensive.
And then I thought about it and felt sad.
Because I knew it was true.
I was NOT who I knew I could be.
You may not be either.
The good news is that once you realize that and admit it to yourself, you can level up.
The first thing to do is promise yourself that you WILL NOT QUIT.
The second thing to do is find a person or two you can learn from on TH-cam, books to learn from, etc., and then get to work.
Mistake to avoid: Don't spend all your time watching videos and learning. Instead default to ACTING.
Learn some stuff but then put it to use.
Make mistakes.
Get scrappy.
I have some good TH-cam content, and there are others who do as well, obviously.
But get to work, because the YOU that you wish you were is inside of you.
And as soon as you decide to be that person, you ARE that person.
Corny? Don't care.
It's true.
Get to work.
