AKU's 2013 Convocation ceremony on December 19, marked several significant milestones: the 30th anniversary since the grant of the University's charter, the 30th graduating class of the School of Nursing and Midwifery; the 25th graduating class of the Medical College; the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute for Educational Development; and the 10th anniversary of the University's Examination Board. To commemorate these significant landmarks, the Chancellor, His Highness the Aga Khan presided over the University's Convocation
