Flew it last week! Group 3 economy! Just under 14 hrs taxing for one hr out of lax and two flights ahead of us that added to the time! Korean air flight crew top notch!

@@winterheat The Korean Air cabin crew were super strict. Barely able to record down the aisles without someone shouting at me to stop recording. It was stressful just trying to breathe. I wouldn't dare go on a tour around Korean Air flights. The fancy cocktail bars only available on Emirates or Etihad Airbus A380s 😆 unfortunately the other airlines A380s are built for maximum occupancy they ditched the finer things in life 😆

@ Yes the flight crew was super shy they don't want to be recorded which is understandable but I tell them I'm recording the cabin for my own memory, they calm down eventually. It'll be a different story if Blackpink or BTS was in the cabin 😆 Yes definitely fly Airbus A350, the new gen planes are super duper quiet like 50% quieter. You will enjoy it. Starlux is one of the coolest new airlines too you should 100% try them. They are more expensive than Eva so take that to account.
I targeted the noon flight just to plane spot the Asiana A380 as well since we don't get both the Korean and Asiana giants at my home airport SFO. I love both planes it might be the only chance I get to see and experience them as Korean Air is already retiring and dismantling a couple of their A380s 😢

@sfoaviation it's only 4 days. then, going to Japan tomorrow for another 3 days. Gonna try Starlux from FUK to TPE after. The best part, I'm gonna fly Asiana biz to come back to LA on Saturday
Hi Jacob! Thank you for watching. They did not weigh my carry ons they were lax about it on this flight. This was a full flight. From my previous A380 flights carry ons were never a problem. This plane is so big and powerful enough that any extra weight is not a big deal. The Emirates A380 even cargos vehicles of all sorts. One of the luxuries flying with the A380. In a 777 or A350 carry on weight is an issue therefore most airlines are stricter from my experience.
@@sfoaviation I'll be flying this November, super excited. Last time I tried Asiana A380 from LAX to INC, they weighed my carry-on. Super strict about it for not exceeding 10 kg. Hoping KE is not like Asiana
@@jacobs4985 That is fantastic! I hope you reserve some great seats. To be fair Asiana fares are usually lower than Korean Air. KE is considered to be a higher end airline. I remember when booking this flight it cost me double of what I would pay for Asiana A380. It was costly this KE flight but worth it I love the plane and the livery. I couldn't stop looking at it. Barely did any walk around to see other planes hanging out in the terminals 😂 KE was cool with carry ons with me, lets hope they don't go rambo on you. November is a chill month for travel its just before the holidays too so hopefully things are lax on your flight.

The legroom on Korean A380 economy was incredibly spacious it felt more business class, Delta economy does not compare. British Airways A380 legroom was impossible 😆
Oh really? I loved all the meals they served it was tasty and they gave out so much food during this flight I was ready to explode way before landing 😆 I did not notice snacks in the galley but what I did notice the flight attendants was running around the Entire flight, literally asking everyone if they would like something to eat. The entire flight someone was snacking on goodies. I couldn't believe the cabin crew worked the entire 13 hours. On my previous A380 flights from Emirates and British Airways the crew slept all the way barely showed up for anything. Please share what it was like before, I am curious what has changed. 😀

The meals were just bibimbap and porridge. th-cam.com/video/D0NLi5BtrKE/w-d-xo.html I flew Asiana A380 same route last year. The meals were amazing. I should've picked their steak instead of bibimbap, though.
I think on the flights you watched the passenger selected the bibimbap and porridge, it was an option on KE as well. I opted for the American option, I won't survived on just lettuce 😂
Thanks for watching Perla! There was a slight turbulence during the flight that lasted about 2 minutes. The A380 was so big barely moved. It was super comfortable.
Haha I actually really liked all the meals on my flight it reminded me of eating at a Panda Express at times. Maybe its just me I love airport food. Will try the past next time 😆👍🏻

If you can take the red eye flight instead of the noon flight to ICN. You wont have that Asiana flight ahead of your plane

Just flew KE18. The check in was super easy (through app) and they didn't weigh carry on. Immigration took 15 minutes during 5pm(rush hour)
