I got two of these and found them very simple to use compared to others I have. And very effective. However, I ended up using them indoors, at least temporarily and, even with the motion sensitivity set to its lowest setting, a light going on or off or even sunlight dancing on the wall due to wind blowing the trees outside sets off the alarm and the cameras record. That makes them less than useful. I can only imagine that, if I moved them outside where I originally intended them to be, every cat or squirrel running through the yard will set off the alarm. In fairness, mine came with the Geeni app. And, as I understand it, iHome the company and the iHome app are no more.
