MoH soundtrack...Thank you a lot Michael Giacchino. We miss the times of you composing for Spielberg for a WW2 game and the golden age of FPS gaming: the times of medal of honor, early battlefield and cod games. Thought I especially miss the MoH games.
I've never been a fan of the Medal of Honor style where you're a single man doing commando missions behind enemy lines, I prefer it when you're fighting alongside other soldiers to give both the sense of being just a cog in the machine, as well as the brotherhood aspect, but this is a really well made mission, it looks good, the fighting in and around the manor reminds me heavily of COD 1 so that's a big plus.
Damn, this mission looks awesome. There is no pathos, you are alone against hordes of Nazis, you penetrate their headquarters, create sabotage and escape under a powerful explosion (Surprisingly, not in a truck :D). Somewhat reminiscent of the old Medal of Honor parts or the old Call of Duty parts
It's refreshing for this return to a no pathos game (or level) design, as you say. It's very reminiscent of CoD 1, CoD UO, and CoD 2, at least to varying degrees. You're just there accomplishing tasks, nothing more, nothing less.
Man this guy who created this mission should get a head job at any salary for any developer. Super polished and just works. Seemed like a 007 like mission as well

They really should do a remake of some of the medal of honor games. Especially Vanguard, spearhead, allied assault and frontline. Should also get a remaster if the Cod 1 and 2 games with todays engines

Oh for the good old days of great solid Single Player Campaigns. Activision's lost the plot now. You buy their latest WW2 offerings, and have to go online for a gigantuan download just to play the Single player campaign. Pathetic. Many people have given up buying their WW2 new games for that reason. Many aren't interested in Multiplayer. But this Mod looks fantastic. MOH atmosphere.

am i the only one that thinks if they ever even think to remaster the black ops series as they did with modern warfare that they need to remaster WaW with it before they even do anything else? Resnov being such a vital point for masons story in black ops 1 & 2, I feel as though WaW would have to atleast come campaign only with a Blackops 1 remaster. show the kids that didnt grow up playing the older cods how violent and wild the old cods were lol
Wolfenstein intro where the protagonist beats an SS guy to death and takes his pistol. Should have cooked off your grenades and bounced em off the tree behind the barrier the enemies were taking cover behind when you were using that sniper rifle at the break in the wall.
I was so angry to find out (years ago when it came out) that it has no missions of the US against Germans only Russia vs Germans I wish it had more like this

The level design is honestly up there, CoD Waw is still raw with all the materials that were put into that game and this modded enhanced it.
This mission was more interesting than the entirely of cod MWII and MWIII’s campaigns which both of those campaigns put me to sleep 😂
