Hi great video tutorial thank you! I’ve now added my plan however when I try and add it to my cart, it is saying “you can’t order this plan at the moment”. Then it asks you to log in. Any ideas what I’m missing? Or not done? 🤔Thanks Caroline
Hello Caroline! Thanks for the comment. Let’s troubleshoot this. A couple things to check: 1. Is your pricing plan page set to a “members only” view in the page settings found in editor? 2. Are you connected to Wix payments? Other payment systems like square or PayPal only would also cause that message to show as they don’t process recurring payments. Let me know if either of those work and if not we will keep working on it here in the comments!
Unfortunately you cannot use pricing plans with Square connected as a payment processor. You’ll have to use Wix Payments. Square doesn’t support recurring payments unless you set up your website on their website builder. So first, connect Wix Payments and then try it again! :)
Thank you for this. When new programs are being added all the time how would you provide access to specific categories rather than programs - to avoid having to add multiple plans to the member permission constantly. I hope that makes sense!
Oh my gosh Momma, Girl you are so sweet doing this while your little one naps! Quick Question, how do you lock in a foundational membership price in a subscription? I am raising my prices in a particular membership and I don't want my foundational members price to go up.
Hey - thank you for the information, great video , I’m having issues on uploading videos to my channel, it keeps says the file type not supported , would be huge help if you could explain why !
Thank you! Wix supports the following formats for video upload: Mov, Quicktime, AVI, and MP4. If you're still experiencing issues, I would try using a different browser to attempt to upload. I have the best success using Google Chrome with Wix. If that doesn't help let me know!
@@thewixcollective thank you so much 🙏 that’s huge help , one more thing if you don’t mind i have created course with 30 tutorials each of this tutorials are around 25- 30 min long , and the plan is to upload to one channel under one price , but the problem is when I start to upload , I can’t see an option where I cab set the channel price and include all videos under one channel, what happened is that each video requires one price, which I don’t know how to fix this issues, if you can point me to right way to do it , will be so much appreciated 🙏🙏
Hello, thanks for the helpful video....is there a way to have both an Annual Plan Option and Monthly Plan Option to choose from within one Main Area? For instance, Bronze package would have an option for both annual and monthly, and then broken down into different quantities and prices within the plan?
Thank you for such information...but in the last when customer paid for the services it redirect them to the home page ....so please once keep the price zero and select the plan and check where the exact problem is ....I will be very thankful for your this act of kindness
Hey! I am so sorry, I just now saw your comment. I am a little confused as to the problem you are describing. I think you might be referring to the page a person is automatically directed to when they purchase a plan? The default in Wix is to send the user back to the homepage. There is a way with coding in Wix Velo to customize this feature but I have not mastered it yet. I will keep you posted!
Can I create a membership so that the pricing plan includes all of my individual courses I've made in the programs app? If so, can I create multiple pricing plans for the same membership eg. if i later increase the membership price but want current members to keep the price they're paying?
Thank you for this super helpful channel. I am building a veteran charity site. I'm building out the course catalog and can not figure out how to charge a one time fee for any non veteran that wants to take the classes. I have a "Are you a veteran? Yes/No" button that is required to select when registering, I just can't seem to find a way...I tried looking at "if, then" conditions with no luck. I think the solution is found in the "plan selection " explained in this video, but still can't get it right.. any advice would be helpful for me. Thx
Hi! Thanks for the Wix videos. I'm looking into adding a free trial option to my website. I do not take payments online and do not wish to show my plan/pricing options on the website for now. I want to give clients an easy way to sign-up for a class (free trial) without having to add them to my Wix Fit app or needing them to request access to a membership (that seems to be happening right now). I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Thanks!
Great question! I am trying to think of a workaround…you have to have membership to get someone into a free trial. If you adjust your settings to accept members automatically without your approval would that help your situation? Are you not wanting to show your plans and pricing because you’re on the Wix fit app? If that is the case, you could temporally take them to your website via a linked browser page within your app to get them signed up and then take them back to your app to log in. Let me know you’re thoughts! I might need to make a follow up video on this.
Hi im trying to figure out how to set up pilates classes. The classes are ongoing and you by acces to 10 or 20 classes at once but you have extra time to use them. Fx 14 weeks for 10 classes and 28 weeks for 20 classes. Do you have any video on that subjekt?
Thanks for the great information. Maybe you can help with my question: I've created an online course (program) and connected it to the pricing plan, but after a customer is purchasing it doesn't show in the members area immidietly. Instead, the customer has to go back to the join button in order to activate the content. Do you know what am i doing wrong?
Hey! That sounds odd to me. I would try a couple things to troubleshoot: 1. Try making some edits to the “my program” page and republish 2. Try making some edits to the course and republish 3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the courses to the plan Let me know how that goes!
I would love to help if possible! Feel free to send me an email at emily@thewixcollective.com. However, the best way to get your questions answered is to join my weekly live calls at thewixcollective.com/innercircle. Hope we can connect!
Great question! Wix does allow cancellation at any time. Typically, I create a sales page for laying out the membership options. There I could use graphics, videos, text, etc. and then when the membership options are listed out with the “purchase now” button in the pricing plan app, it shows all the benefits as a list without graphics for easy list view. Hope that helps!
I have the pricing plan layout how I want it on desktop but the mobile version has the packages in an undesired order. How can I change the order of appearance in mobile?
Had a nightmere setting my pricing plans up on WIx. Unable to connect to Paypal for reoccurring payments and NO one seems to be able to resolve the issue.
Thanks for this comment, let me do some troubleshooting and get back with you. In the meantime, do you have a second PayPal account you could try to connect and test? The reason I say this is because I had a client who had an issue with PayPal not working at all, however when we tested the site with a different PayPal linked it worked. We determined they needed to delete their original PayPal and recreate it because it was being glitchy. Again, stay tuned, I’ll get back to you here with what I find in my troubleshooting…
I created a member-only page, LinkedIn pricing plan to it everything is just as you did I'd already done it. But when I created some free coupons to try it out for me and a friend, it won't let us join the page. When we go to the login place and go to new page it says we're not subscribed and there are no plans to subscribe to... Thoughts.? I'm trying to have videos that people can access and stream on a web page and I've set it all up and I've linked it but they can't get to it I tried using the groups app instead and takes extra steps to make sure the videos don't become downloadable so I'm not comfortable with that. And I was able to get myself in her to be able to access it but when you go to the videos even though I've labeled the videos there's No label anywhere so it's not user-friendly she can't figure out what video she would be clicking on.
You can set a pricing plan to only be able to be purchased one time, but customers could purchase multiple different plans. That would be an awesome feature though. I’ll add it to my lists of requests.
Hello! I sell lotions and creams in lots of scents. They are all the same price. I want set up subscriptions so they commit to the number of bottles a month but can change scents every shipping cycle. Can you help me make that happen?
First of all, I love this idea! There are a couple different ways to go about this. I think I would create a form that you send a link to every month so people can "Build their monthly box" and then it will save directly to their contact card. There are other ways to make this happen and if you want to talk about it contact me on my website and maybe we can schedule a consult.
How do I set a limit on the number of individuals that can subscribe to a pricing plan i.e I only want to take a maximum of 30 subscriptions each month
Great video, thank you. I'm trying to apply the membership feature for people to download one or a few songs for free from a music setlist I created. Do you know if that's possible? Sp far I created a coupon for the each level of subscription but we can't apply the discount code when downloading the track. Any input would help, thank you.
Anyone know if its possbile to have an online course on that is connected to a payment plan. Ex: the course is paid for in 4 monthly installments. each time a payment is made, more of the course is open to them. Possible?
Thanks for this! I'm confused by the custom start date... it wasn't clear to me how that works. When does the payment get taken if you have recurring payments? Would it take the first payment when the date they select arrives? What if you change the price in the meantime (because this is an early-bird rate)?
Hi there! Good questions. The custom start date means you can set the course to start on a certain date or they can instantly start when they purchase, either way payment will be taken when they sign up. As far as recurring payments, courses are only able to be purchased under one time payments. However, you can include your courses to be a part of a “monthly plan” where they sign up for your pricing plan and get access to the program while they are in your pricing plan. Does that help at all?
Can anyone help me here? I want to set up a Membership that ends on 1st July no matter when it was bought. And a discount applied based on how many days are left in the cycle
I created my membership site and sales page on separate sites. Is it possible to SELL the membership on the sales site, and then enable the customer to LOGIN on the membership site? Being that they are separate sites, won't the customer's information be saved on the sales site, not the membership site.
Hmmm...this is tough. If possible, it would be better to host all payment and log in information on the same site because you won't be able to make two sites talk to each other. You will have to manually add each person to the second site after they log into the first site. I really have success having a membership site and a sales site, however, it is essential to keep all payment and client interaction on the membership site. If you need some help navigating the two separate sites I'd be happy to help but it would be best to chat over Zoom - check my website for consulting options. I'm wanting to giving different product pricing to certain users.. perhaps they are subscribed as a member to are setup locally in my company and a client who receives a discount on certain products.. is there a way to setup or change product pricing on the fly in wix? I want to offer a 6-week English class. Can I offer payment plans like "pay $X in full" and "pay 2 installments of $X" for the course using Wix payments? I only see an option for multiple 1-time payments like $20 for adults, $10 for kids.
