So fun watching you discover XG. Believe it or not, their dance skills are just as good as their rap and vocals. You should check out Move 1 and some of their dance practices. Their choreos are one of my fave things about them. They are tight like sisters and it shows through their dancing.
You just happened to pick my top 3 XG videos. Cocona is the youngest of the group and was 16 years old at the time of this video. Maya is just a few months older!
XG is a japanese group!! The only thing this last person missed was old school hip hop, they are in love with 90s and early 2000s music. But basically they hit the right spots. XG is def on the come up, I know they performed in LA at HITC and even the crowd sang happy birthday to Maya which was amazing!! They are my favorite group and I have watched everything they have ever came out with!! You should totally check them out more and you should totally turn up the volume for us to bump to as well!

They were in training together for about five years in both Japan and Korea. They have been exposed to multiple genres of music, in particular hip hop and r&b. Their producing team is composed of members from Japan, Korea and America. They have chosen to produce all of their songs in English as they believe it is the language that will reach out to most people globally. Their goal is not to be a j-pop or k-pop group, rather x-pop as a global group. They are not all fluent english speakers with the exception of Maya, however they are able to read and understand it with heavy emphasis on diction when it comes to performance.
