The lava flow boiling the ocean in the background made it super steamy! 🙂 In the DVD commentary for this video, he said that they went back to that beach the following day to re-shoot something, and the whole place was gone! He said it had all fallen into the ocean, and Wikipedia says the beach was covered with new lava.

Chris Issac was the singer, person who wrote this song, and the man you saw in the video. Helena Christensen a very famous Danish model was the women in the video. I used to live in Denmark, and she was talked about a lot, not so much for this video, but more for being considered one of the most beautiful women in the world at that time. This song was used in a movie I saw called Wild at Heart, and I think the song won some kind of MTV award if I remember correctly. Chris Issac reminds me of Elvis with some of his facial expressions. If you noticed the close up of him singing, he was curling his lip like Elvis. I interpret this song as having a relationship with someone who is not good for you. If you intend to watch a live performance of this song, I would recommend an early unplugged version. I've watched many reactions to this song, and watching your reaction was a pleasure. I met Chris Isaak back in 2001 and again in 2003 a few times! He was doing his tv sitcom "The Chris Isaak Show"in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Chris was so sexy back then too!! Such a nice guy as well as his band mates!
