Maybe the intent was for her to be just a writer. A lot of times the record companies have a certain look for artists that another one doesn't possess at the time. She is an amazing singer and writer none the less keep striving Queen.
Yeah. Although Tammy is a premier songwriter and vocalist she looks like the typical unambiguously black woman. With the colorist anti black nature of the music industry maybe many execs (many who are black themselves) thought they couldn't effectively market her. Regrettably a missed opportunity 😔
