- Vlog #30 London Visit + Concert + Pubs and Beers ! With loads of Charity Shop Hunting !
In this weeks VLOG myself and Mrs OG spend a weekend in London for a concert at the O2 Greenwich, where we see one of Mrs OG's favourite bands Depeche Mode. We follow this with a walk around central London taking in the sights, sounds and smells of Leicester Square and London's China Town, namely Old Gerrard Street. We then visit 2 London CEX shops and of course.... Pubs where we wash down the weekend with beers !!!!!!
Before we undergo the London visit myself and Little OG visit our local charity shops and on the Friday myself and Mrs OG visit another town to hunt for retro games in charity shops.
A visit to the games room to play this weeks arcade game beginning with 'X'.
So if retro game collecting is your thing and you enjoying classic retro arcade and retro console games then this is the video for you.

You’re a legend! I’d forgotten about that game! (Xain d sleena) as soon as I saw it I remembered playing it in Tenerife 35 years or so ago. Fired up my raspberry pi cab and there it was 🤩 give it another go! The weird weighty jumping allows you to commit to a direction then fire the opposite way. And after completing a stage you get to play a decent horizontal shooter to get to the next planet. Thank you so much for reminding me about this gem 👍

Krakow is fantastic loads to see and do, Salt mines, Wawel Castle, Auschwitz are the main things.

Krakow was one of the first vlogs we did on our channel. Amazing little city. Beer is cheap as chips.

Went to Krakow last year. Did the main tourist attractions like the Salt Mine and Auschwitz; both recommended, although keep in mind there's plenty of walking involved. Importantly for your channel, there are also two options for arcade gaming! There's the Krakow Pinball Museum in the centre with a nice selection of arcade games... and pinball obviously. However, and although it's a short tram ride outside the centre, the much better choice IMO is the Krakow Arcade Museum. Fantastic selection of games from mechanical machines to modern Japanese rhythm games, not too busy; just a great place to spend a few hours.
I went in April and the weather was... not great. Cold and plenty of rain, although nice to experience the Easter Market and its ample food stalls! I know it's the luck of the draw as far as weather is concerned, but I'd suggest going around May/June time 👍

Thank you for a great vlog once again OG 👍 i'm on couch duty today due to Back problems, So i know the feeling of walking with Back pain, i hope Mrs OG is feeling better now. Hmm Depeche Mode, i'm not so familiar with their music, only heard few songs and they are okay 😎 i'm 43 and i think my concert days are over, i just can't stand big crowds anymore and someone's phone is always blocking the view 🙈 take care and see you in the next one 💪👊🍕🍺🤘
Hi Janit her back seems to be improving think she may have pulled a muscle... Easily done at our age matey😉 Still enjoy attending gigs myself but to be honest do prefer the smaller venues, unlike the O2 where it was £9.50 a pint 😲🤑

Xain'd Sleena came out on the Spectrum back in the day but they changed the name to Soldier of Light. Guess it was easier to pronounce!
The name change makes perfect sense as you say so much easier to pronounce 😉🍺
Great vlog as usual. Unfortunately those games in BHF may not have sold. I was speaking with staff at my local and their policy is if they do not sell within a set number of weeks they chuck them destroying the disc in the process. It is so frustrating as they will not reduce the price to sell.
Sadly that really does not surprise me 🤔 As I said in Fridays video just drop the price slightly less than CEX and rotate the stock and get it sold.

Hello Rob, me and the Wife went to Krakow a while back, and let me tell you we was really surprised! Big glasses of beer, old town was cool and a good walk round. Food was decent. Good architecture. Couldn’t recommend it enough. I say Krakov pretty sure that’s right haha.

Good vid as always guys 😊 on the point of Harry winning the traitors m8 After he got the shield and everyone thought he was there because the shield saved him why didn't they think it was a little suspicious that he didn't go the next day because if they wanted him out wouldn't it have made sense they would have known the shield saved him and so get him out next go !! I would have known he was a traitor after that. Great trip guys I like Depeche mode 😊 last time I went to London me and my other half went with our 2 youngest and we stayed at some hotel (cant remember the name) but it was twin towers had a sauna and swimming pool kids loved it, however when we checked in they had put the 2 kids in one tower and me and my wife in the other, we were not happy bunnies to say the least and they quickly seen our point and put us all next door to each other, the kids loved the pool but in the morning the guy on the breakfasts insulted me and asked me if I had paid for breakfast and was I a guest!! Still got a £10 voucher in my email to go back haha ..not. we spent the weekend going around London seeing the sites etc went to the theatre on the Friday night to see mousetrap and went on the Saturday night to see the Abba one I think can't remember the second one now but on the train thing ... We got a train there from Liverpool to Euston and it took 2 hrs mate haha and 2 hours back on the Sunday it was amazingly quick we thought it would take all day we were in London at 10am friday so had all Friday too on our weekend. Went round Harrods as you do. Never bought nothing though as it was too expensive haha😊 anyway nice to see you enjoying yourself as that's what it's all about 😊

As for London it’s an amazing city and so much to see and do, love visiting the different areas like Camden etc.
As for the train usually in centre of London in 50 mins but damn those buses replacements !!!!!!!
This hotel didn’t have a pool matey it’s a Premiere Inn so a standard hotel, always know what your getting 😉
@@OGDuffy wow so yor train is half nearly what it is from Liverpool haha crazy I still can't believe I can travel from Liverpool to London in 2 hours m8 it's insane, used to take me all week with the horse and cart years ago haha well felt like it in "the olden days" of travel

Not done Bloodstock matey, done Monsters of Rock back in the day and Sonisphere Festival etc. Went to the new Maid of Stone fest last summer but won’t bother this next year as lineup not to my liking 🫤
Legend! Love the videos. Last time i was in London on a Sunday, i had a few too many in the brewdog pub. Ended up falling asleep on the last train back and missed my stop. Cheeky £75 taxi back down the motorway.

So nice to see London again I even saw a pink taxi, that's a 1st for me, now if Mrs OG is still suffering with her back may I suggest a Tens Machine. I have been using them since my early 20s and still do now in my 60s and they really do help, anyway throughly enjoyed once again..Cheers matey

Yeah top bloke and the arcade is unreal. Some of the cabinets look and play brand new. Honestly....unbelievable.
He purchased a cab from me…. Gave him a few Jamma boards too to add to the project 😉
