He could have snapped this human out of existence as a demon and display incredible combative and acrobatic feats effortlessly, but that’s only because he was a demon. Unless something similar happens again, it’d be pretty stupid for Dean to be able to fight on this level.

It’s also been implied and heavily speculated that Dean was one of the most powerful demons on the show. Crowley was terrified of him. This scene never fails to amaze me. Because yes, this is Dean, but this is *so* not Dean. His sarcastic comments are meant to be taken seriously and he is meant to cause some hurt. And it's so weird because the sarcasm in real Dean is just...sarcasm. But this...goddamn. This is pure evil. I applaud Jensen every time I watch it because...wow.
But to be fair, we also got to see Jensen's amazing acting skills in fighting a level of temptation down to the very core of his soul. Imagine a heroine junkie that is so desperate for a fix that they are willing to kill. Now multiply that 1000x and that was what Dean went through, and Jensen fucking nailed it. Either way, as long as it's Jensen, i am a happy fan.
Well, to be fair they had planned on it going longer, even giving Dean and Sam a big fight scene, but since Jared wrecked himself wrestling Osric it all got cut short.

Heck, he even does so when they have their rematch after he's cured. Don't get me wrong, Cole is a badass as far as humans go. He's trained as marine too, he knows multiple martial arts, sure. He's got skills, but we're not talking about winning the local boxing championship of his town. Beating Dean Winchester in close quarter combat is more akin to being the best mixed martial artist in the world.
Can we please stop to appreciate how Dean, using nothing but his fighting skills completely and utterly humiliated a well trained NAVY seals member? Even in the rematch where Dean was no longer a demon and didn't even want to fight him still fucked him up six ways from sunday. SMH when people say the winchesters only survive because of plot armor.

I love how this entire fight is like, 2 minutes and Dean is just kind of toying with them. And then Sam shows up and neutralizes him within 3 seconds. I mean, obviously he was prepared and all but it kinda shows how much you _need_ to be. The difference between being prepared and knowing what you're about to face really does have a major impact.

This was one of the most well done fight scenes I have seen in TV or film-period. The choreography was so well done, it's hard to believe it was planned. Something I really appreciate is that Dean even looked different from his usual self when he was a knight of hell. Aside from the obvious attire change, his facial expressions, his actual face, and even his hair was different in a way I can't really describe. Dean just looked so evil... truly evil, which shows terrific acting on Jensen Ackles' part. It was odd and slightly thrilling to watch this darker version of Dean so effortlessly defeat a man who's trained for this for the majority of his life. It makes me wonder if he could be nearly this good if he just let himself go all the way and not hold back in his usual fights.
Since he knows all the techniques to defeat Cole and the only thing his 'deamon-ness' guess him are things like strength, speed and healing factor (as far as I know) (maybe also better reflexes but idk), I think he is actually really good and would be hard to fight even as a normal human

To be fair, the only ones who truly know what Dean does on a day to day basis are either dead, or would never tell Cole unless he threatened them. He probably just came across all the numerous cases where Sam and Dean got involved with the feds, and noticed no matter how screwed they were on paper, they always escaped and left dead bodies in their wake. To an outsider, that would probably sound pretty fucking badass and also scary at the same time.
Da1337Man Honestly, if someone was to closely watch him they'd realize something is supernatural about their adventures even though it might not make sense to someone. Only reason they always escaped easily was because noone cared enough as much as Cole to observe Dean.
But to the average joe who is blissfully unaware, supernatural monsters are seen just like they are in our world, where only gullible and delusional people revolve their lives around it. People like the feds or in Cole's case, a battle hardened war veteran don't see a reason to waste their time with paranormal nonsense when there is little evidence for it. The only way to get undeniable evidence for ghosts etc in this show is to see it in person, which usually gets you killed.
I remember way before I saw the show, I found this clip and I though Dean was so awesome. When I started watching it and found this episode, I was thrilled. Deanmon is so badass!!

Love how hardly anyone knew what Year of the Deanmon meant. Yes Dean was a full on Demon after Metatron killed him. But after he was cured the Mark of Cain was making the process start over. The poster of season 10 said "Wrestle your Demons." Thus Dean was fighting the urges of what made him a Demon in the first place throughout the whole season. Had he stayed in Hell and was not rescued to be a vessel for Michael he would of became a Demon based on his character.

Da1337Man Honestly, if someone was to closely watch him they'd realize something is supernatural about their adventures even though it might not make sense to someone. Only reason they always escaped easily was because noone cared enough as much as Cole to observe Dean.
But to the average joe who is blissfully unaware, supernatural monsters are seen just like they are in our world, where only gullible and delusional people revolve their lives around it. People like the feds or in Cole's case, a battle hardened war veteran don't see a reason to waste their time with paranormal nonsense when there is little evidence for it. The only way to get undeniable evidence for ghosts etc in this show is to see it in person, which usually gets you killed.
I remember way before I saw the show, I found this clip and I though Dean was so awesome. When I started watching it and found this episode, I was thrilled.

Love how hardly anyone knew what Year of the Deanmon meant. Yes Dean was a full on Demon after Metatron killed him. But after he was cured the Mark of Cain was making the process start over. The poster of season 10 said "Wrestle your Demons." Thus Dean was fighting the urges of what made him a Demon in the first place throughout the whole season. Had he stayed in Hell and was not rescued to be a vessel for Michael he would of became a Demon based on his character.
