Arunita never said that "I am sidhi-sadhi". This was everyone's assumption about her. Moreover, being "sidhi-sadhi" doesn't mean to be dumb. She is such a talented girl. Why would she be dumb?! She is just straight forward to some extent that shows in this interview. She just expressed whatever she felt. Later on when Pawan reacted, she tried to handle the situation because she didn't mean anyone to feel embarrassed.

Silent people can also be short tempered. In one of the episodes he also admitted that his sisters are very afraid of him. Why would his sisters be afraid of him if he is not short tempered? And why is it a big deal to accept that? I don't think it is such a big deal. Arunita just expressed what she thinks. Later on when Pawan reacted she tried to handle the situation as she didn't mean to embarrass anyone. To me Pawan's reaction was too much. In the who Indian Idol season, Arunita was told aunty, battery, etc. But she handled it like a sport. Im comparison "short tempered" is a very light word. Pawan should learn something from Arunita about sportsmanship. Though she is way younger than him.
