Such an intelligent $ comprehensive analysis of the ploy of the ruling party and that too in such a simplistic way, Yogendra Yadav has the brains of a true Professor. And a compliment to our presenter Barkha Dutt also, who complemented in the discussion rather than dragging the speaker from the topic towards an end result that the presenter wants to take for his/her you tube channel.

Sorry, it is relevant as I don’t need to waste my time and energy preparing a list for you when you can’t even start with outlining your own position😊. However, one simple high level one to start with is that the opposition is much stronger now so the Government can’t ram through legislation or make changes (especially such changes that requires constitutional amendments) without having adequate support in Parliament so let it be debated so that pros and cons are discussed and the representatives that we have elected can make a choice if it is good for the nation or not.

Basically ONOE is reducing the opportunity for the people to voice their view. We should be going the other way i.e. increase the voter's voice. So this ONOE is anti-democratic. Also I am yet to see what would happen is a party loses majority in either parliament or in assembly. Do we hold an election 1 year after the election or wait for 4 years till the next election can be held.

  • @Chuchn6419

There is a danger in “one nation one election” making a mandatory policy. Whenever any one of the state governments of Indian union is toppled due to the usual MLA sacking and no confidence motion, again the entire election process for the Loksabha and state elections are to be conducted. This will result in more chaos frequently and much more expenditure than expected. If you look at the past of Indian state and Loksabha elections, it is clear that this happens often. However, If BJP was straight forward in their conviction about this idea, they could have dissolved the BJP governed states, which are going for state elections fe😊w months after Loksabha elections, like Haryana and Maharashtra.

I think Modi does not want to run this government by asking permission on every issue with his alliance partners. He knows that mid-term elections might be a good thing to go with, so he will keep bringing such so-called constitutional amendments bills that will keep getting rejected due to a lack of a two-thirds majority. Then he will try to push forward a narrative in which he will ask the people of the country, "Look, I am trying to develop the country, but the opposition is creating hurdles and not letting me work, so give me a full majority vote for a full majority."
All these waqkt bill, one elections, may be UCB everything will be brought to give new agenda to bring sparks in rights winger workers.
