She got her WII out just for some of the songs even though she could have done them on TH-cam what a legend

iirc she used her wii u like she has done in the past since wii games are backwards compatible with the wii u

Because of my theatrical lighting experience it made me so happy that the LED's were paired with the maps and songs. I don't know how those work, but I would love to know. These maps also make me feel like I should've gotten into this game way sooner lol

I played nearly every Rihanna song in the entire Just Dance franchise and I love all of them! (Especially Umbrella, Disturbia, Only girl in the world and Where have you been) 🤭 Although Man Down was originally going to be in JD2014. I hope she makes a comeback in the franchise!
After watching the choreography and listening to the Rihanna songs, I can already Imagine how the coaches and maps are going to be like if the Just Dance team remake them.

I actually think it’s likely Rhianna will be brought back soon because in If You Wanna Party two Rhianna coaches in the background, I’m imagining that it will come in just dance unlimited soon and maybe even give her a comeback.

I think it's just because they are very expensive when compared to other songs.
Not too sure about this one, so take it with a grain of salt.
That makes sense,. I thought that would be the reason I just couldn’t find out when searching it up.
Most likely a couple of reasons.
1. Cost of licensing probably became very expensive, especially with the label Def Jam. Rihanna has been working with that Label from her debut 2005 album "Music Of The Sun" and all the way up to her 2012 album "Unapologetic".
She changed Labels to Westbury Road and Roc Nation since her 2016 album "Anti". Roc Nation is a Private Label founded by Jay-Z, and Rihanna is still an active artist in that Label. Eesh!
There has been artists and former artists that used to work with Roc Nation... one of the former artists is actually Kylie Minogue which we now finally have a new song added to Just Dance. She joined in 2015 and left 2 years later due to poor record sales and lack of sponsorship deals.
Kylie Minogue's most recent 2020 album "Disco" has a positive reception, quite positive sales and fairly noticeable in the rankings. It makes sense why "Magic" by this artist is on Just Dance. The label she works with now is BMG.
Anyways, back to Rihanna, I did say there was two reasons. The other oen is...
2. Rihanna is on a long hiatus. She hasn't released very much music since her "Anti" album. She has been pretty much on and off with recording music. In terms of music where she was the lead artist, the most recent 3 songs with her as the lead has been - "Lemon" with N.E.R.D. (yes, that's an artist) in 2017, "Believe It" with PartyNextDoor in 2020, and "Lift Me Up" in 2022... a song as part of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie. In terms of songs she recorded as a featured artist, the most recent has been - "Selfish" by Future ft. Rihanna, "Wild Thoughts" by DJ Khaled ft. Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, and "Loyalty" by Kendrick Lamar ft. Rihanna... all 3 were released in 2017.
Yeah, you can say that Rihanna's discography has been since 2017. That is a 5 Year Hiatus. Rihanna's strongest work has been her songs with her as the main artist from her debuts in the late 2000s and her work in the early 2010s. Rihanna is still strong and notable even when she is a featured artist. You got "The Monster" with Eminem, "Who's That Chick?" with David Guetta, "This Is What You Came For" with Calvin Harris, "Love The Way You Lie" with Eminem (again), and of course "Wild Thoughts" with DJ Khaled.
So in summary, the two big reasons that Just Dance has been lacking much of Rihanna songs is pretty simple. Rihanna has been on-and-off since 2014 and then took a big hiatus since 2017. Fingers cross that the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever song - "Lift Me Up" becomes popular that it'll give Rihanna the motivation to return and get back into the music business and pump up new songs. She's 34 in 2022, so she still has plenty of years to make music unless she decides to quit for good.
