As far as defensive football even Real Madrid went to Etihad last year CL semi and played similar football to Arsenal. We know Keane hates Arsenal because of the old rivalry and he also grew up a spurs fan. Down to 10 men against the best team around away from home with a possibility of going 5points behind them at this early stage, Arteta done the right thing.
roy keane was a bad manager at low league sunderland for a reason, how can arsenal play with 10 men at etihad with a lead and try to play football? liverpool under klopp only won once there and haaland wasnt even there yet.
If you listened to what he said carefully, he never said they should have played attacking football. But playing so defensive to the point that 2 of your players have not made a pass all game long is crazy even against city.

Arsenal are a good premiership side , but against other top european sides they are pretty average. That's because of their mechanical style of play that is a lot easier to work out when playing against other European clubs. I agree with Roy.
