If you ever find sticky plastic items that are worth your time to clean... Either baking soda and water paste and wipe it off or goo gone. (Sticky plastic happens with vintage toys) so it might be worth it at some point to know the trick. ☺️ Cool finds!
Amazing Estate Sale Haul🤓~
We know several "Planners" over this way, near Phoenix, and a few times (because we are frequent Shoppers), they have asked me to take whatever I wanted before clean-out!!
Always lots of fun and have scored some awesome finds for NADA; plus, I always offer something money-wise, yet more often than not, they say I am doing them a favor by them not needing to pack more up to then haul-away😎...It always pays to treat others FAIRly, which you do, and then it comes back in a positive way to BLESS our lives❣!!
Some of the shoe stretchers at 23:23 can be worth decent money and have a decent sell through rate.
I have a Singer Genie!!! Got it for my high school graduation in 1976. It is an amazing machine. Love how compact it is. When you pull out the plug, there should be a little packet with the instructions etc. Good luck selling it, it is a great machine!
Enjoy your videos. Definitely put all the old papers together, even notepads with business names, old receipts....people who make junk journals are always looking for old ephemera. Also be sure to check the paperweights for maker names.
My singer is as old as that one. It’s was my wedding present in 1975. I love it and still use it!! Mine is the same patten also. I bought another machine later but it broke when we moved to Florida. I was told don’t ever get rid of your old machine they don’t make them like that anymore 👏🏻😍

Oh yeah, I have a Singer Genie. When asking around on vintage sewing machine FB groups quite a few people gave them rave reviews as good sturdy reliable machines. One or two said they still used the one they'd been given as a teenager. Sewing machines from before approx 1980 are often more metal than plastic therefore more durable and easier to repair.
Funny some of those postcards were eye-popping. The magnifier glass should be a keeper. Some post cards are prints of Vincent Van Gough paintings. The round glass was a sphere. GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT CONTENT. THUMBS-UP ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!
Cat's Meow buildings are what I use as kindling for starting my fires. They are made by fj designs here in my hometown of wooster ohio. They were so mass produced it was insane. I see boxes of them go in the trash every week at auction because they company was such a flop. I should know I designed some of those terrible little buildings, most of them are models of local buildings. We used to go shoot pictures of the building and turn them into cad designs. Worst job at a cubicle in a windowless dungeon I ever had. Just wanted to share a little history from my side. Absolutely keep the great content coming, love watching. Cheers!!
Vintage matchbooks sometimes are worth something depending on where they are from
Def, lot the matchbooks and "some" of the postcards, people that collect Ephemera look for interesting piles of paper like that!

I watch an array of ebay youtubers and sell myself and it's always so interesting to see what each one thinks is a sellable item. Crazy Lamp Lady would be jumping all over those glass and pottery peices. Lol
You're right, Jocelyn would probably have snatched up that flowered paperweight! I thought of her alot when the boxes of pottery, dishes & knick-knacks came up!

That was an awesome haul! I was going to comment on everything your going to redonate and stopped as I read through the comments. I'm gonna say. This though, look up ALL the old things...people are funny about old stuff and anything they might be able to craft with. Even if it doesnt have a marking it doesnt mean it won't make money. That first handmade bowl you put in the give away pile I would love to buy. Looked like sorry, rose gold...I know I'm not the only one either.
The sticky does come off. It happens to cameras too from the oils of the fingers. Cleans off with alcohol.

Paperweights are very collectable. Some , mainly French, are worth a lot of money. Look for names on the bottom. That could be for the huge glass vase you put on the free pile.
OMG!😂😂that was some hilarious birthday card finds, once could have been sold on eBay but no more, great pickup, go through that box of used pen at the beginning of video some people will payup for the o!d pre-90's I believe vintage Bic pens the one's with the silver metal part on top with the clicker to retract and reveal the pen that screws onto a coloured lower plastic body an has the long clip on the upper metal part (shorter clips show the were made later and not sought after as much , also some current and older pilot pens can gather some good money if acquired for super cheap, thank Matt for great content, I'm tryin to list 50 items this weekend🙏😱
My fave was the office supplies box. Love cards and legal pads. Prior to that box, the round paperweight with the orange color inside.
I like the way you are so positive about everything. You might be able to sell lots of postcards, notecards and other paper items (Ephemera) I've bought stuff like that for using in artwork. Even batches of unused envelopes of the same size. If you ever came across old rolls of tickets or boxes of jewelry repair envelopes. All sorts of stuff. Even boxes of old receipts. Oh and there's a couple kinds of baskets that can be valuable. Enjoying your videos.

Paperweights can be great money, old pencils and pens as well even used, bookends are good in lots same for magnifying glasses. Grab the paperweight from the free pile, someone will buy it I bet.

You should look up that one glass paperweight with the yellow flowers in it. I believe that is hand blown Glass and there are people who collect those kind of paperweights.

Looks like the glass bowl may gold in the glass. Valuable. The small glass bowl shaped like a lens has a signature. Check it out. These might be good research projects for your son and daughter. School credit...
The empty note book in The last box looks as though it has handmade paper On the cover. Really,some of This stuff that you is a by, has some decent value.

Glass paperweights always do good. Some can go for hundreds if signed.
You could sell those postcards and vintage stationery to the crafters and junk journal makers out there. They’d love those.....
The 2 snow globes with the black plastic bottoms are OLD!! From early 50’s or older. Very vintage! Love them

Hi Matt. Some of the unmarked glassware could be crystal if its very heavy. I watch Dr. Lori antique appraiser on youtube. She said antiques like ceramics and porcelain dont need to have a makers mark to be valuable. Also in the box with the fake orchids there is some shoe trees. They are wooden with the metal piece in the middle. They are worth money and also would be good to use for your business when you sell shoes. They go inside the shoes to give shape.

Many things can just be listed as art glass or glass vase or ceramic bowl and if you put handcrafted, handmade or something like that you can get something for them, but inunderstand if you have a lot of inventory already then being sort of picky is good too.

I'm still laughing! This is a realistic look at what you might come across when you don't know what you're getting - classical CDs and naughty greeting cards. My personal favorite was an album of photos of camping trips of some middle aged nudists. I was dealing with the daughter of the deceased who probably didn't know it was among things she told me to take.
I would keep those cards for your co-workers on valentines day 😂

Think you are the one of the best channels on TH-cam. When you look up something on Ebay how come you don't look at solds "sorted" from highest plus shipping. I find it easier when it is sorted instead of solds all mixed-up in prices. Just a thought.
I wouldn’t recommend sorting that way. Better to keep it as ended soonest. This is especially true for sports cards bc what sold 90 days ago or that price doesn’t mean it’ll sell for that price today if at all. Sorting by highest can be very misleading

The dvd at 26:25 "Being There" seems to be worth a little bit on eBay... $10-$18 or so.

Wipe the binoculars with alcohol to remove the residue from the rubber. When the rubber gets hot from being stored in a hot garage it gets all sticky, it’s nothing icky Matt. 😂

I source almost all of my inventory buying the leftovers of estate sales. I have a deal with an estate sale.company here. I go in after their sale and give them a flat fee for everything. The only catch is I have to take it all, including loads to the thrift or dump, but we do really well.

I went to the thrift store a few days ago to drop off some stuff. They are only open part time now to take donations. They cut the line off from taking anymore donations right after me, to a few peoples dismay. One of the people who help u there told me they are getting so many donations that thrift stores are refusing them. He said he had 90 cars dropping off stuff in the first 4 hrs they were open yesterday. I find that unbelievable. PS thanks for the chuckle I wanna see what made you speechless lol 😝😝

The paper weight with yellow flowers might be valuable. Not sure, didn't get a good look at it. Murano and other good glass makers made them.
The nice cards that were in white envelope look to be like from/about louvre museum in France. Dont know if they have value or not but may want to keep them in white envelope if you sell them.

Goo gone took the sticky stuff off a head phone set I had bought from Radio Shack before it closed that I had packed away. The head set is fine and I have been using it.
