The best meals are always made on the fly- using whatever you have! Loved this video and you can’t beat a soup named “ hug and a kiss “ lol thanks for sharing 😊keep em coming!
I make gravy with can evaporated milk I get at Aldi. It's great to keep on the shelf so when you need it you have it. It's half evaporated milk and half water = regular milk.
Yay! A new video! You and I are similar in many ways. I also enjoy having a meal plan, especially during the busiest of seasons. Even so, I am also okay with winging it when I need to. That's one of the blessings of having a stocked pantry and freezer. We are never without a meal, thank God! ❤
I love to watch you cook! There are so many Deer around here but I have no one to hunt for me ,😢 I would definitely love some venison in my freezer and some to can.can’t afford beef. Love the way you never waste food . You are a smart woman ❤
You put together some really great meals, Jennifer! I enjoy seeing the process. I ate a lot of yummy biscuits and gravy growing up. We loved it with sliced cantaloupe.
Here is a really good recipe my friends and family love that uses chicken thighs. The recipe states it can use both breast and thighs but I have only ever used thighs and it always turns out great. Hawaiian BBQ Pulled Chicken for Sandwiches 1 bottle (abt 18 oz) BBQ Sauce of your choice 3 lbs boneless chicken breast, thighs or a combo of the two 1 large onion, chopped 1 (21 oz) can crushed pineapple (drained) Reserve juice to use if desired. *Optional* Up to a half a can of the pineapple juice, depending on how sweet you like your pulled chicken Place your chicken in the bottom of the crock pot. (If you use frozen chicken, make sure it is completely defrosted. If you cook it frozen, it will make a very "wet" sauce.) Top with onions, then pineapple. Pour entire bottle of BBQ sauce over the whole thing. Turn your crock-pot on LOW and cook for 8-10 hours (or on HIGH for 4-6). An hour or two before it is finished cooking, carefully remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred it using two forks. Place chicken back in the crock pot and stir well to combine. Finish cooking an additional hour or two so the chicken can absorb most of the sauce. Serve on hamburger buns and top with coleslaw if desired.
I REALLY Enjoy these videos, showing us lots of Yummy 😋 meals and desserts! I Love how you and your family Always eat together!🫶🤗🫶 Your homemaking skills are AWESOME Jennifer and I learn lots of helpful tips....Thank you!🥰🥰
Hi Jennifer and sweet family! I agree, I don’t like this time either. Everything looks delicious and I bet the chicken pasta is so yummy. Sweet Joe is getting to be a good helper in the kitchen, so is Maria. I hope you and the family have a very blessed night!
All your meals and treats looked yummy. Funny how you can pull together from freezer and pantry and put on the table instead of meal planning for the week. Sometimes we have a lot better meals that way.
Thanks, Jennifer for making your videos. I always enjoy them and look forward to watching you and your sweet family. That chicken pasta dish looked amazing. Joe cracked me up when he said "ok guys and started telling us what he did" too cute! Great video! Have a wonderful week there!
I have been cooking from my pantry mostly for about 6 weeks now. Every now and then I step off the mission and need more thing from the store, but mostly been pretty disciplined! Love your videos about the same...but I do get ideas! Haven't seen you since the election!!! I know yall are as happy as my family!! God bless America 🇺🇸 🙏 ❤️
Yes, we are very pleased with the outcome of the election, but I'm most happy with the popular vote. It feels so good to cook with all the bits of ingredients left in the pantry and just use it up to make space for new ingredients. ; )
@32.29 If you find yourself low on chips for your taco meat, you can layer it on tater tots or french fries, if you happen to have any of those in the freezer. You could make a taco/nacho bowl: tater tots/french fries + taco meat + lotsa cheese! YUM!
Love the video been follower for yrs and I use just the nail on glue and there are always some left over after you put a set on and bc I like pretty similar I save the leftovers so later on I can use them altogether as a mash up , mix match etc
I love your channel because you cook all the time....love your cooking. I have both your cookbooks and they are my favorite! This was an excellent video!!!
Jennifer, if you have someone nearby with a Costco membership get them to get that vanilla in the store because it’s usually $11 in the stores. I love their vanilla!
I keep a running list of ideas for a meal plan. My freezers are stocked, my pantry, usually only go to a grocery store if I need more fresh produce or dairy. I then pick up good sales or whatever I feel like. Maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. Bake any kind of bread we might want. I’m the one that never knows what I feel like eating.😊
Hi Jennifer. Great video and your nails are very pretty-they look professionally done! Joe is quite the camera announcer! Yes, I know Joe-don't judge you (LOL). I watch Sugar Spun Run-love her channel. All meals (and desserts) looked delicious. Hugs.
Love watching your videos Jennifer! I stayed up until 2AM on election night. Couldn't go to sleep without knowing the results and I must say, I was happy with the results. God bless you, your family and our country.
Gotta admit, Warren's not alone. I would choose any other cheese over parmesan. As long as I'm on the truth train 😊 at least half of our meals call for cheese. Thanks for all the inspiration ❤ btw I agree with the Walmart clothing options, loving them.

I am not used to having dessert every day. I did not grow up that way and do not do that with my kids. They are so thrilled just when I make cookies once every quarter.
I think that’s a Wisconsin thing. My Grandma always had to have a jello, pudding or something after dinner to complete it. I bake cookies once in a while, yesterday for a Birthday I baked a real carrot cake to die for. I grated all those carrots!😊
I cannot believe how much Maria has grown up! I always enjoy watching you bake. You have a very calming voice!

If you have land I'm sure you could find a hunter to hunt on it because the public land is often very full of hunters.
I LOVE your rust color shirt and the plaid flannel that matches. SO pretty. All yummy meals and desserts!
Thanks so much! It’s nice and warm.
I had to push the thumbs up the first minute of this video. These are some of my favorites to watch. Thanks, Jennifer.
Aww, thank you so much!!

The chicken thighs looked great!
They are!
Theater are a favorite type of video. It inspires me to cook and bake. I mean I cook every day but it’s not always inspired.
I get it. Filming for you all inspires me to get creative and use ingredients up.

Hi Jen this week I am making your recipe blackened shrimp tacos.....I can't wait to try it, I did your taco soup last week and it was dilish.
Wonderful! Shrimp tacos is a favorite of my adult kids!!
@@acountrylife what kind of wine did you use in the chicken dinner
@ Chardonnay, but I think any white wine that isn’t too sweet would work.
❤great vlog
In the south that dessert is called "Four Layer Delight." Yum!
The vanilla is from Costco. I love it. I go through a couple of bottles a year.
What cut are you using for the venison roast? Thanks
Most likely a hind quarter. It’s from the “front” of the back leg. We call it the football roast.
Jennifer, if you have someone nearby with a Costco membership get them to get that vanilla in the store because it’s usually $11 in the stores. I love their vanilla!
That's a fantastic price. I'll have to talk to Amber.
I made a pot of beef veggie soup - I kinda wing it so never the same twice but I also don’t have leftovers lol
Then it must be good 👍

I love your nails.
Thank you. They are glue on and I trim them shorter.
You nailed this Jen! ❤ from tbay
Thank you so much!!
All our cinnamon has been recalled down here in the Chicago area.. Any ideas on what or where to find cinnamon? Thank you
I hadn’t heard about that recall. I suppose you could order it from Amazon or Walmart or Penzey’s spices or Thrive.
It's all over our news here due west of Chicago. Costco took it all off the shelves and other stores also. Google Cinnamon Recall
Love watching your videos Jennifer! I stayed up until 2AM on election night. Couldn't go to sleep without knowing the results and I must say, I was happy with the results. God bless you, your family and our country.

Hi Jennifer. On your first book the recipe for cranberry bars doesn’t say the size of the pan. Can you please tell me what size to use. Thank you.
9x13. Thanks for asking.

Our cranberries are sold in Mariani products as well as many store brands.

You can get pure vanilla 16oz $13.99
That's a great price. I paid more at Amazon.
What is Grouse?
Ruffed Grouse or Partridge. It's like a small wild chicken.
Or if your Scottish an extremely well known whisky😉
