educated Filipinos back then can perfectly speak English, Spanish and Filipino in their proper forms. Meanwhile at present, many Filipino students can't even speak in proper Filipino nor in English and opted for this abomination called Taglish. We also abandoned Spanish completely.

Tama yung dakilang bayani natin na si Jose Rizal. Sai ya kung hindi mo minamahal ang sariling 'mong wika, mas malala ka kesa sa hayop o nabubulok na isda.

I agree mas matalino pa ata mga ninuno natin hahha
Partida may giyera pa nun or 2nd class citizens (colonialism period) pero ayaw magpatalo sa patalinuhan.

During the time we, The Philippines, were rich. A puppet of the USA, but rich nonetheless. Nowadays no more country gives this kind of treatment and importance to the Philippines. They no longer want to hear our speeches, they no longer believe in our contributions to the progress of the world and they no longer see us a player in the world stage after losing our influence and integrity due to corruption and malgovernance. I just hope that the world's nations do not forget the sacrifices and good deeds that my country has given for the sake of huminatarian efforts.
    1. We fought in the Korean war
    2. We gave sanctuary to 10,000 jews
    3. We accepted displaced vietnamese during the Vietnam war
    4. We gave the last vote, a tie breaker vote, which created the state of Israel.
    5. We lost a great deal of identity when our cities suffered destruction during the world war. A war we were not even supposed to be a player to.
    6. The people power (bloodless) revolution of 1986 became a pattern of many revolutions in other countries seeking to overthrow their abusive governments respectively.
Yes we are a poor nation but don't forget that however difficulty we faced, and we had a lot, we were always ready to help.
