She lives in Quebec now. We see her often on television. She is happily married, has a daughter, and has recovered from all the issues she had in the past. She is radiant with happiness.
She is one hell of a singer. Her voice is so unique, so powerful, and absolutely lovely. I love when someone performs a song and you can see their art. The art of not only singing but pulling you in to feel what they are feeling. Why this woman is not more popular is beyond me. It's stunning really.
I watched the "LARA" documentary a few months ago, but I can't find it anymore, don't know why :(. It was so worth watching, simply incredible. It answers all questions ("Why isn't she more popular?", "Why didn't she become as famous/successful as Céline Dion or Mariah Carey?" etc). I hope this documentary will soon be visible again on TH-cam...
Yes I've seen it and I know the back story. Sometimes they pull stuff. YT is not as easy or straightforward as people think!

@@jeremie2020 I'm glad you said. When people say react to this that and the other they think you just get a record and play it. They have no idea and you can lose your channel. If YT removed it that's a strike gainst the channel which is tough. So people should be grateful for content shown as they wach for free without the work. Most channels charge or have Patreon. I believe that Lara Fabian is one of the best female vocalist. A beautiful voice with a richness to lose oneself. All these years and she has maintained that instrument of hers. Phenomenal.

I have listened to this on and of ever since I found this jewel of an artist and song, about four years ago. It’s such a powerful song and subject. The way Lara sings this version is as you put it, stunning! I’m in awe if her anyway, but this particular song is like her version of “Je Suit Malade”, you literally feel the pain the subject in her songs are going through..

You are the first person I've seen on TH-cam react to this song. I loved this whole concert Lara performed at the Kremlin. This was one of my favourite songs from this concert from her album Mademoiselle Zhivago which was written in collaboration with Igor Krutoy who wrote the music and Lara wrote the lyrics for the songs. Igor Krutoy was the one on the piano for most of this concert. Such an incredible, emotive and passionate performance by Lara as always.

I'm so happy to see a reaction to this phenomenal song and performance. It's up there with Je Suis Malade and the other master class performances from the From Lara With Love concert. I agree with you about the subtitles. I can, and do, listen to her every day quite happily not understanding all the words. You got a new subscriber for this, and I look forward to going through all of your Lara reactions. Oh, and if you haven't seen it, you should look up the movie that was made out of the songs on this project. It's just incredible, I've never seen anything like it.

I'm not actually taking requests as my playlist is full as I appreciate and play many artists but thank you for sending it. When I have time (which is rare) I will try and view it personally. My channel has a wide reach because I do all my content in the following languages: English (obviously) French, Japanese, German, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Korean and Polish which a lot of work and I don't think people realise the amount of work I do to get the artists work out there- but people are starting to realise now and it shows I care which is evident. Lara singing this song in Russia, how symbolic/ironic....indeed, it's a country where domestic violence isn't condemned (there's even a russian law that pretty much "encourages" men to lay hands on women if necessary...) Timing is 'everything' so be assured, it 'will' be shown - but the temperature has to be 'just right' - I understand where you are coming from and one of the reasons I received an award is because I have helped many people 'without' fanfare, but with dignity and privacy , and some of those people were just like Llora 🌹. I'm fully aware - so do not worry. On another note Papillon will be coming out tomorrow (I think) - just finished doing the thumbnail.
