It's a marketing technique so women will buy expensive purses to hold their stuff instead of getting the two in one pants and pockets
It's because women's pants are usually skinner and more tight to the body. So having a huge bulky pocket that will bunch up at your crotch is undesirable for most women. Also women have bugger more curvy hips that take away space for pockets, men don't have curvy hips so there pants have plenty of space that won't interfere with a pocket.
If work out leggings have bigger pockets than my jeans for work that is a problem.

I used to be super judgmental about child leashes until I started working with children and 1. realized how fast and sneaky some kids could be and how dangerous it could be in an outdoor setting, and 2. a LOT of kids who have elopement issues really require it. Loved hearing you say that you don't judge people who use that. I'm always so impressed at how passionate you are about "you do you" and "you know what's best for your kid." So important to hear a mom say that

@@gisch9393 maybe that’s it. I never really understood why it’s so frowned upon. I’m a toddler mom, and he’s extremely well behaved, but he can get excited, happy, he likes to run and explore. And in the world we are in today, kids get kidnapped in broad daylight. I haven’t had to use one, but I think they could be very handy?!? A backpack, and a way to keep your child safe. 🤷🏼♀️
@@rcj-ns6pe Haven't used one either and they're not very common here (I'm German). But I get it. Especially when you have twins, it can be pretty dangerous in traffic or in crowded places.
The backpack one is amazing. It actually saved my kids life because as I was taking my newborn out of the car my toddler tried to run in the road and the leash made him unable to reach the road that a car drove right by. I felt they were great.

I have arthritis in my right hand, and those jar openers are super helpful. But not because I am a weak woman.
I have C.P and it only really affects my hands , so the openers are a life saver for me. I'm actually rather strong I just don't have strength in my hands anymore

“You can cook hotdogs on the stove?” I’m deadddd she’s never had struggle meal💀
Her family wasn’t fortunate growing up, she just probably microwaved, baked them or grilled them.
I had kids back when baby food was all in lil jars and got so frustrated trying to open one of those tiny Beechwood baby food jars that I called and griped about it and they sent me a doohickey that opens the seals first so that you can turn the cap. It's 21 years old and I still freaking have it.
Also, the most unruly of my kids was my son and when I tried in my desperation to use a harness on him, he was hyperaware of it and while he wouldn't cry or try to remove it, he would twist and writhe and finally lean against it until he was standing around 45-degrees or less from the ground. So I got curious and slowly gave him some slack and he just continued to lower until he was laying face down on the ground, I kid you not. He's always been an interesting person. He used to watch his toddler shows and when they'd ask questions he'd give the wrong answer on purpose. I tested it, he knew the right answer, but he liked saying the wrong one when Diego would ask him if whales swim in the ocean or fly in the sky. Interesting.
But I defend those leashes because there are some kids who just want a little range but are too small to let loose entirely and my older daughter got to run around a little without having to hold my sweaty hand and have her lil arm in the air all the time. Also, the day that I gave my son enough slack that he laid face down on the pavement in front of people and just laid there on his face until I went and got him to stand up again... yeah, the harness was retired as a failed experiment.

The pockets! I have a sewing machine, and it gives me this feeling of absolute power to know that not only could I make clothing for myself that has pockets, but I can add pockets to already existing items that are lacking in the pocket department. I haven't done it yet, but once I do then I will be unstoppable!
Also, I got really angry the other day because my nephew, who isn't even 2 years old yet, had a useable pocket ON HIS HAT. What does he even need a pocket for?! He's not even old enough to understand the concept of pockets and storage, let alone need to carry his own stuff around. He prefers to hold things in his hands, and is at his happiest when he has food in each hand.
