Just wonderful; I'm looking forward to the finale - getting into the docks themselves. My wife and I are from Merseyside and have had this run on our bucket list since we took over our boat in June last year. It looks absolutely brilliant.
Paula didn't have any pornstar martinis on our night out (so I didn't need to panic about the price!), but we did visit a wetherspoons! Pity timings worked that we only had a day or two in the Liverpool together - I'm sure there will be a next time to meet up somewhere though...
Silence on Narrowboat Natterings. Paul's face and the silence said everything when you came out of the bottom of Stanley locks. It is pretty awesome, an experience that can only be experienced from the water. Love the banter!

All the docklands you sailed through where the stadium is up to the isle of man ferry terminal is getting redeveloped and will look absolutely amazing to sail through once it is done. I scuba dive in the docks on either side of the Liverpool building.
We need to keep the old school banter up in my opinion mate because things nowadays are too serious ✌🏻👍🏻. Yes it's clear in the docks there are all sorts of fish and marine life in the docks too. Liverpool university does some marine biology research in there too.l@@NarrowboatNatterings
I ripped my trousers climbing over the barb wired wall to see the Stanley Dock Branch in the late '70's. It was off limits then. How things have changed!
Oh it's banter it's not rude lol. Geordie here and if I had a quid for every time 15 or so years ago people said, 'Say day 43 in the Big Brother house' or wey aye man I'd be a millionaire 😂 The Big Brother guy has a Stockton on Tees accent. Now calling that Geordie is rude! LOL 🤣
@@Badjester1 haha! People who try to impersonate brummies, inevitably speak with the more extreme Black Country accent which is Dudley/ Wolverhampton area.
@@NarrowboatNatterings We did Stourport to Womboune and back for Christmas on the canals last year and I really struggled with the accents. I'm usually really good at picking up dialects and accents. Then we did the four counties ring in June which we'll probably be doing again next June. We did a day/evening in Birmingham. I LOVE Birmingham but I haven't a clue with the accent when it's really strong. I just look confused when they speak lol. Me and me Dad sat at the Tap and Spile for a bit before heading back to the train station. You went by the Tap and Spile on at least one of your vids. We've decided to do Christmas on the canals again this year. I've always loved Birmingham though, love the canal side pubs and that 👌😁
