If you liked Circe, I highly recommend Colm Toibin's The House of Names. It is the retelling of the myth of Electra. Ive found the writing lyrical and poetic in some moments. The character analysis has a depth that really overwhelmed the reader
I only read two books on this list and both of them are my 2018 favourites - The Secret History and Circe. I just bought The Goldfinch, looking forward to reading it in 2019. Rebecca has been on my TBR for a very long time, I've watched the movie a few times, but never read the book. I hope to get to it this year. I enjoy your videos very much, keep up the good work. :)
I wholeheartedly agree about Circe! It's written so beautifully and the way Madeline Miller connects all the myths is so compelling - I think I might re-read it soon, and I defintely want to read The Song of Achilles too! Also I think I might check out The Overstory soon, I've heard so many people praising it :) Love your videos, hope you have an amazing year!
