We all have one thing in common to do, let's keep old benin songs alive and also passed it on. Long life the Kingdom of Bini (Benin) ❤❤

Old memories
When you look critically look at Nigeria as a nation there is nothing we didn't have except good working responsible government. Even in the seventeen government was even ok. Otherwise that country is mightily blessed in all areas of life. This is just a local wonderful music. Imagine what we could have been with a responsible government! Thanks to Sir Patrick Idahosa and to all the Edo/Esan musicians. You guys rock bigly ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
U right may God bless us all Amen
My dad use to play dis music when he was alive so anytime i miss him i play it 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I grew up listening to these classic tunes from great Benin legends. Thank you Dad! I miss u so much.
Great musician. My Local Government don't understand Benin language, but my community used to invite to play for some occasions. in the Northern part of Edo state (Bendel state then)

Thank you so much for these tunes. Took me way back to the 70s when Uwaifo and Idahosa dominated the music scene in Edo land. The tunes also made me remember my late uncles on whose radio changers these records were played. RIP to all those who have gone to meet their maker. RIP Idahosa

Also with me in lovely memory of my late dad
Hello l do appreciate thank you so much
God bless you for uploading this great album I was privilege to have watched he play live in uromi back then in the eighties.. May his soul rest in peace
This album is a CLASSIC! I wonder why Sir Patrick Idahosa is not as celebrated as the Edo greats like the Late Sir Victor Uwaifo, and Late Sunny Okosun. Probably because his music was more of the authentic Bini language not really 'mainstream..' If his people are reading this, I hope they can have it uploaded on itunes........and I hope he is still making money from this amazing album!
I love this man! Pure unadulterated music, not the kind of microwave music that's prevalent everywhere nowadays.
It's a pity one download these songs from youtube
This is perhaps one of the best and most played Bini music ( LP ) of all time.Sir Patrick Idahosa the legend of our time.He is second only to Sir Victor Uwaifo in the Bini Music scene.I just cannot stop playing and enjoying his music since my childhood dating back to early Seventies...Lol
This is raw talent and creativity at he's best no computer manipulation. Hear the sequences, the muster Bass my God, hear the conger at the bar ground. leading giter playing by the master himself wonderfully. Nigeria is lost.

@@mauriceokpamen8374 You have said it all my dear brother. Lol
You will lose count on the best. Try playing Adamosa Osagiede music. Let me know what you think.
@@ehismichael6917 Adamosa Osagiede equally belong to my personal all time list of my favourite Bini musicians. No shaking. But After Uwaifo, then Idahosa, Oke , Mochico Bay, Adamosa. Osayomore and others.Lol
Where is Sir Patrick Idahosa now? How come his career never quite took off like Uwaifo?
Wow... Track 3 is my favorite.
Gracious Lord, give Sir Patrick Idahosa everlasting peace and love in House .Amen.
Sunday Osazuwa Igbinoba
