5:14 What happened is your Akali went full Mobafire. Electrocute + Shadowflame + Rocketbelt into 3 bruisers/tanks, and Sorc shoes instead of Ninja Tabis into a full AD team. If she builds Tabis, Rift, Deathcap, Void Staff (in place of demonic) with Conqueror she does 10x more damage and is about as tanky if not more.
Hey, so what is shadowflame really good at? bc if enemies have MR you're better off with Void staff, and if they don't with other AP items no?

@@Tiro_Chopper If they don’t have MR Shadowflame is ridiculous. 10-20 pen is already good, but 200HP on such a relatively cheap item is also insane. The best part is the 100AP though. Building it early gives you an absurd amount of damage without a huge drop in survivability.
In this case though, there were a lot of tanks (high innate/built MR) and bruisers (high innate/potentially built MR) so Void Staff would be better.
Just kind of look at their team when you go to build it. A lot of squishies = Shadowflame, not a lot of squishies = Void Staff. You can also always stack both if you feel the need.
(Note: the flat pen also gives you some flexibility to build something like Steelcaps without worrying about losing Sorc Shoes stats. That’s another reason why Staff or Shadow are pretty much always a must build)
The build is fine, the real problem is that if Akali makes a single mistake, that comp would oneshot her. And it's G4 so it's hard to not make mistakes (unless you are an OTP, like me, and know exactly what, when and how to make a play) but most of the time, urgot just oneshots Akali once he gets Titanic, and he was quite fed here so Akali could only focus Trist or Zed, who probably weren't even the carries, Zed Is shit lategame and that Trist didn't seem quiet clever. The runes were taken to shit on Zed during laning phase but it Is pretty hard to play for early against Zed with Akali, you need to be pretty good and have a pretty advanced knowledge of the matchup and the limits.

@@thebipwolf6371 I’m an Akali OTP too. The build is definitely not fine or I wouldn’t have commented. Runes I agree were probably to shit on Zed in lane, but honestly it’s a stupid ass plan. You aren’t going to win lane against Zed no matter what runes you take, all she did was fuck her ability to do anything else the rest of the game for a very, very small improvement in her laning phase.
As for why the items were trash, the only ok things she built were Rocketbelt, Hourglass and Demonic. Hourglass is always an amazing buy, and especially into this full AD team it was the best decision she made all game. Shadowflame is garbage here. Flat pen does nothing to the majority of their team, and in this situation the pen from Void Staff would be about as effective on the squishy targets as Shadowflame’s pen, so the only real advantage is the higher AP which doesn’t make nearly enough of an impact on most of their team to warrant dropping the high % pen. Rocketbelt is fine. It’s never a straight up terrible buy. But into such a tanky team Riftmaker’s sustain and true damage are a massive help. Rocketbelt falls short for the same reason Shadowflame does which is that flat pen really doesn’t help here. The dash is a nice bonus but the sheer amount of damage and sustain Riftmaker gives in exchange are much more useful than the wasted Pen on Rocketbelt. Demonic Embrace is also ok, but its only really being built because this Akali predictably was getting blown up due to her lack of both Conqueror and Riftmaker. Had she brought one or both of those she could’ve swapped it for a Deathcap, which would’ve given her actual damage. Sorc Shoes suffers, again, the same problem with flat pen. 18 flat pen would be fine if their team wasn’t so tanky, but when all of their damage is AD and flat pen doesn’t matter you get 200x more value from plated than Sorc shoes. And it also helps in lane and with early fights where people use a lot of auto attacks, which is a nice bonus.
