So much attention to detail: the cowboy shadows for each guy, Hangman’s image turning Dark Order purple, the voiceover, the editing for the video package, the spotlight for Brodie, purple bandannas, and the gear that Hangman is wearing was gifted to him by the Dark Order on BTE after he drew a sketch of it and said it was what he always wanted to wear.
Someone pointed out to me that the name plate simply read "The Dark Order" but I completely missed the purple filter! It's those small details that you may not notice, but they definitely count!

I casually search for this video very often only to watch & realize how epic cool hangman/dark order entrance is. In such a limited time slot, it's arguably one of the coolest entrances ever.

Remember when Hangman first got the title shot and people were saying he doesn’t feel like a main event player. What a job AEW has done bringing him up and establishing him and the Dark Order
They've done a FANTASTIC job with all of this. In Hindsight, Jericho winning was the right move early on, absolutely. But they obviously had Hangman pegged as one of the future faces of he company and have done a wonderful job building him up over the last 2+ years. He feels like a legit superstar now. When he wins the strap the Omega (which I believe will happen), it's going to be one of the loudest pops we've heard in years, IMO.
At that point it was that way, but AEW did a brilliant job in developing him. He felt like tons of potential back then but now he is that main event player.
Honestly Hangman Adam Page is one of the best babyfaces in history. If AEW continues to play their cards right, he might just become a legend comparable to Stone Cold and the Rock
Hangman's entrance with Dark Order is how entrances should be. I remember Shawn Michael's wife saying entrances are too long and we should shorten it because it gives time for people to tune out. The length of the entrance isn't the problem, it the purpose of the entrance and how much effort is put into it.
Watched this like 5 times already, the juxtaposition between the wholesome entrance of the dark order, and the goofy arragont sell outs in the elite is amazing.
You can't hear it so well here, but we were SO LOUD in the arena from the time that promo video started, I couldn't hear a single word of it and had to get on TH-cam later haha. Most electric, exciting moment of my life, I'll never forget this as long as I live. Missing our Cowboy so much, can't wait till he gets back in the saddle again

This loss made Hangman leave, and now the Dark Order is feuding with each other. God, as if this storyline couldn't get any deeper or better, that is a fantastic evolution to draw out the Championship match even further.
I know most people clamor for Bray Wyatt to be the new leader of the Dark Order but I'm probably in the minority that wanna see Hangman comeback so that the Dark Order can resolve their internal strife :(

Now Kenny will brag he pinned the one everyone thought would beat him and now nobody can Page could push again and maybe have kind of a gauntlet challenge against the Elite to win back his shot and whe the time comes (All out probably) Hangman would kick out of OWA, imagine the pop at that moment and win the whole thing

Now if you will remember there was a part in dynamite where the dark order said: *you taught us not to be afraid of failure, whatever happens we got your back* this led to him challenging omega. Now aew did well booking page to lose to add more sense in it. Now it serves two purpose 1)keeping the dark order away from tag titles (necessary) 2) creating a emotional match between kenny and page which will end in hangman becoming world Champion without a doubt.
Its mid 2024 and here I am reliving when I loved AEW. My favorite moment in the promotion, ever. Storytelling at its peak as Adam finally acepted friendship outside of the Elite

Dark order : from a dead on arrival dud , to tolerable heels and now the hypest stable of the industry. When Brodie died I really thought the group was done for , can't really believe they pushed through, Crazy rollercoaster ride this group had.

The Dark Order entrance was on another level of hype. The cowboy video package, the music, the colors and then the spotlights, my god…the crowd was going crazy as it was but listen to the crowd going extra loud when the Hangman spotlight hits. It legit brought me to tears how invested I am in this goddamn cowboy story. The pop when he kicks out of the one winged angel is going to be fucking nuclear💜
Have you ever almost cried during an entrance? That's what I was during Hangman and the Dark Order's entrance. I don't think I've been this emotional during an entrance since Edge's return.
This might be the best constructed entrance ever. I’m not a huge wrestling guy but I come back to this every couple of months just coz of how well done and epic it is.
AEW has long surpassed its peak but I will always Thank them for this moment as it got me back into wrestling after 15+ years of not watching. Chills for what this meant at the time
The Elite "selling out" by doing a Space Jam 2 promo for their entrance is perfect. Talking about how many Jordan's they bought on BTE to this, is just perfect.
Absolute A+ entrances, both of them. One of the best opening matches of all time. Kenny and Bucks are effortlessly amazing as is but when they join forces, they're unreal.
Ngl the Dark Order and Hangman entrance made me tear up a bit. I keep remembering Brodie Lee and it feels bittersweet that he didn’t get to experience an AEW crowd. I’m so proud of DO and how far they’ve come. 💜
That Page & Dark Order entrance was epic, everything in wrestling and it doesnt take a huge ppv for AEW to do a cool entrance. We get them live free on Dynamite, AEW is just a whole another level of great its like night a day compared to its “competition”
Exactly. This is free tv right here and they went all out. It's called giving your fans what they WANT which other companies don't do cause they make a show for 1 person. This is how you make names and keep talent relevant and happy.
I think part of it too, is they don't look at it just as a tv show or just for ratings and rights fees, they really want a passionate packed arena full of fans, so if they show everybody what to expect on any given show they will come back for more.
It’s been dark order with a reluctant hangman. Then it was dark order with hangman. Now he’s actually leading them into battle and they’ve accepted him as the leader. Great story telling. They get more over every week.
@A Lai aew literally from the beginning has been slowly building the development of hangman by showing him rising and falling by himself but with the dark order, he's slowly adding more layers to his story. It's brilliant shit no lie.
I'm SO HAPPY they brought back Hangman's Tale for this entrance. I love Ghost Town Triumph but I always thought he would use Hangman's Tale again for a big entrance with the whistles. But the purple remix of his titantron and everything was just brilliant. I could watch this entrance over and over again. The way he walked into the spotlight, Hangman is a megastar man!

I was literally speechless as the chills ran up and down my arms while watching the Dark Order/Hangman entrance. The video package was flawless. The lights synced with the remixed Hangman music was perfection. And the cherry on top was the roar of the crowd! It doesn’t get much better than this!

This was the peak of AEW for me. Chills when Hangman walked out. The pop is insane.
The whole losing his first title opportunity to jericho, winning the belts with Kenny, drinking, the bucks starting to hate em, losing his friends only to find his real friends who will prop em up to beat the same friends who left em behind. Is a great well thought out story, you only get in AEW
LONG TERM BOOKING where actions reverberate for years instead of being forgotten in a month. Crazy. You’re rewarded for watching the show instead of insulted.
It’s great booking but you also get that long term booking In NJPW.
I feel so bad because I largely ignored Adam Page. To be honest he is the heart and soul of AEW

Hangman Adam page is the biggest babyface in whole wrestling scene rn.
And kenny omega played a good part in it.
Now if you will remember there was a part in dynamite where the dark order said:
*you taught us not to be afraid of failure, whatever happens we got your back* this led to him challenging omega.
Now aew did well booking page to lose to add more sense in it.
Now it serves two purpose
1)keeping the dark order away from tag titles (necessary)
2) creating a emotional match between kenny and page which will end in hangman becoming world Champion without a doubt.

The cowboy video package, the music, the colors and then the spotlights, my god…the crowd was going crazy as it was but listen to the crowd going extra loud when the Hangman spotlight hits. That Page & Dark Order entrance was epic, everything in wrestling and it doesnt take a huge ppv for AEW to do a cool entrance. We get them live free on Dynamite, AEW is just a whole another level of great its like night a day compared to its “competition”
Exactly. This is free tv right here and they went all out. It's called giving your fans what they WANT which other companies don't do cause they make a show for 1 person. This is how you make names and keep talent relevant and happy.
I think part of it too, is they don't look at it just as a tv show or just for ratings and rights fees, they really want a passionate packed arena full of fans, so if they show everybody what to expect on any given show they will come back for more.
I absolutely love how they are presented like Dark Order as a whole, not DO and Hangman, they're finally a team, I cried with their entrance

I'm SO HAPPY they brought back Hangman's Tale for this entrance. I love Ghost Town Triumph but I always thought he would use Hangman's Tale again for a big entrance with the whistles. But the purple remix of his titantron and everything was just brilliant. I could watch this entrance over and over again. The way he walked into the spotlight, Hangman is a megastar man!

I was literally speechless as the chills ran up and down my arms while watching the Dark Order/Hangman entrance. The video package was flawless. The lights synced with the remixed Hangman music was perfection. And the cherry on top was the roar of the crowd! It doesn’t get much better than this!
