This week, I have been contemplating how to love my neighbor who does not want to listen to anything I say, even if she could maybe comprehend. I will be working on what she can see as God gives me ability to accomplish the task, after my primary priority of caring for my dad on hospice. You made me think of when a lawyer came up to Jesus and asked what the two greatest commandments were, and besides loving God, the other was loving our neighbors. I do admit that fact is failed to be mentioned in the creed that so many hold dear.

This isn't unknown. Gospel means good news. There was more than one good news. There was Good News of the Kingdom, and there was Good News of Jesus Christ's payment for Sin so that believers could be with God in Heaven. I don't understand the point being made here. It sounds like the teaching is that good works get us to Heaven, which is not true. 1 Cor 15:1-4 states the Good News (Gospel) the Apostles taught. 🤷♂️
I think a point is that one can see the origin of the apostles creed and how it omits essentials. Frankly, denominations and some fringe sects can agree to that but be entirely in error over Yeshua=Jesus sin offering.
There weren't 2 gospels. Christ and the apostles all preached the same gospel: the Kingdom of God. Acts is pretty clear about this. The gospel about Christ is the counterfeit gospel Pau warned about in 2 Cor. 11 and Gal. 1. Paul said that anyone, whether it be man or angel, is doubly cursed if they preach any other gospel than the one the apostles preached about the Kingdom of God.

If someone truly put their faith (trust) in Christ as Savior, their life would have to change. It's not possible not to be impacted by the Savior. First Salvation, then the believers' lives changes. First believed then Baptized. First, the head and heart change, then the impact of faith produces fruit. Saved first. Sonship First to those who believe. I understand your view point for emphasizing we Christian should focus on Yeshua’s ministry, listen and obey in our witness. However, I feel that the Apostle Creed is an effective weapon for our apologetics against those paganists. Those people always try to use their polytheism, practice good conduct for self-divinity, and reincarnation for undermining our Christianity belief. Apostle Creed is a summarization of Christianity belief from the Bible, and has been commonly adopted by most of the traditional churches. It is very effective and persuasive to me in quoting the Apostle Creed to refute their apocalyptic sayings imposed on our Christian belief, no matter on the TH-cam Commentary section, and/or face-to-face discussion with those non-Christians, especially with those other persons of other religions. It is also a standard measurement and quick test on the validity of Christianity belief.

And there is a good reason why the NT is written in Greek. It had been the universal Middle Eastern language for 300 years before Jesus’ ministry. This isn't unknown. Gospel means good news. There was more than one good news. There was Good News of the Kingdom, and there was Good News of Jesus Christ's payment for Sin so that believers could be with God in Heaven.

I think a point is that one can see the origin of the apostles creed and how it omits essentials. Frankly, denominations and some fringe sects can agree to that but be entirely in error over Yeshua=Jesus sin offering.
There weren't 2 gospels. Christ and the apostles all preached the same gospel: the Kingdom of God. Acts is pretty clear about this. The gospel about Christ is the counterfeit gospel Pau warned about in 2 Cor. 11 and Gal. 1. Paul said that anyone, whether it be man or angel, is doubly cursed if they preach any other gospel than the one the apostles preached about the Kingdom of God.

Obedience comes after Salvation. If someone truly put their faith (trust) in Christ as Savior, their life would have to change. It's not possible not to be impacted by the Savior.
First Salvation, then the believers' lives changes. First believed then Baptized. First, the head and heart change, then the impact of faith produces fruit. Saved first. Sonship First to those who believe.

However, I feel that the Apostle Creed is an effective weapon for our apologetics against those paganists. Those people always try to use their polytheism, practice good conduct for self-divinity, and reincarnation for undermining our Christianity belief.
Apostle Creed is a summarization of Christianity belief from the Bible, and has been commonly adopted by most of the traditional churches. It is very effective and persuasive to me in quoting the Apostle Creed to refute their apocalyptic sayings imposed on our Christian belief, no matter on the TH-cam Commentary section, and/or face-to-face discussion with those non-Christians, especially with those other persons of other religions. It is also a standard measurement and quick test on the validity of Christianity belief.

The point is that the Lord has provided a way for salvation - and the anointing. Trying to be a spiritual OT Jew by speaking any language or celebrating all the feasts isn’t it. And there is a good reason why the NT is written in Greek. It had been the universal Middle Eastern language for 300 years before Jesus’ ministry. It was Ptolemy in Alexandria who had the Torah translated from the Hebrew to the Greek ca. 270 BC. He did so because not many Israelites could read Hebrew even at that time.
