After you converted the moore machine to mealy machine, if we run the machine, the output of moore machine will always be having an extra zero. So is this conversion valid?

Wouldn't the final output change in both the diagrams ? Shouldn't we also add a output corresponding to starting arrow as Moore gives output for starting at a node too ?

If string is epsilon, according to moore, output is 0, but the converted mealy is giving epsilon as output
