The GE mod has made me hate marksmen so much that I rarely even play it myself anymore. I've had one sit while 4 people were telling him to res the medic and he kept shooting and finally got killed, instantly giving up.
We were the Canadian Squad 2 - 5 wing hot drop at the start (nasty pre-planned tow position BTW) that rotated to that radio north of checkpoint when the first point flipped. Props to Tommy for getting that radio placed. I was the SL that wandered to the east mid-game because of how the VDV were coming in, to support the dig down of military. And yeah, that sniper, clueless AF
28:20 tbf with the ATGM guy, a stationary weapon as large as this ain't the best for situational awareness, especially if his mind was set more towards attacking logi rather than a more "general" overwatch. Just having one other buddy helping with binos would probably have helped a ton.
I was the gunner in the brave or stupid LAV, I hoped I would damage the turret a bit. Only have 50 hours in Squad, We were hyped after that first aggressive flank on the BMD. Although the VDV were not at their best, I had alot of fun this game.
That fight for Airfield Checkpoint was a lot of fun. Also that T-72 really could have made things difficult for us if they posted up behind the rocks SE of Airfield Checkpoint. Our Leopard was too far away to support.

That Abrams was an M1-IP, basically the oldest variant without the DU armor. The M1A2-SEP variants have eaten far worse in terms of explosives. There was one in Iraq that survived being hit by 17 RPGs
