I lived in Bangalore until 1986, when I moved to the US. Going to the British Council Library, and then walking down Church Street to Rumali restaurant with my college friends, was a special treat. We visited in 2020, just before the pandemic shut the world down, and went to Cauvery Handicrafts and down Brigade Road, but missed Church Street. Is Rumali's still there?
Bangalore is different from Mumbai,Delhi and Kolkata,I have travelled several cities in India, but I have only found Bangalore and Ahmedabad to be the pleasant city in India
@Good Earth I have seen all the major cities in India......Cannaught place...actually is not that clean, In Mumbai I didn't find any road parallel to our MG Road, Brigade road church street -- which have majestic looks like a European city... ..In Chennai, is there any road that matches our MG Road .....Our Malleswaram - a middle class shopping area, so clean and cultured atmosphere....Every other city in India is dirty....Delhi Aero city is not a public road, it's a private road.....too upmarket....
