Cobi as always does an amazing job, and the prints really add a lot of authenticity over the previous models. Also some very interesting Studs not on top techniques comprising the main cabin sections in how cylinders are used as spacers.
I am a cobi client from the very start of the company, and I have the older Bismarck, Iowa, yamato. I love seeing just how great cobi is evolving and not forgetting about their older models
I finished this model the day before yesterday and honestly, she's wonderful. It makes it a very nice object alongside my Missouri and my Yamato (two legendary battleships too !). If you have the chance, take it. It is well worth it.
The only thing that disturbs me in this model are the red barrels of the top guns, except that it‘s amazing Also, i hope that cobi will make the HMS Dreadnought at some point (even when currently i am hoping that they‘ll make the KV-6 they showed as april fools into am actual set)
@@herbertblum7704 guns were never red. The red turret top could have been although we don't have proof for that. Either way. If painted it would have only been the turret tops...

@@huss4r1813 the hull and superstructure fractal paint scheme yes, but I have no idea where the red barrels and yellow guns come from.. There have been rumors the Bismarck had red barrels, but to my knowledge there's no proof they actually ever were indeed red. And for the Yellow guns, there was an order to repaint the top of the batteries yellow after operation Rheinubung, but I'm not sure they were painted, but whatever the case, at that point the fractal had been completely painted over, the last bit of camo left was the fake waves on the hull. So idk where this yellow/red+ fractal scheme comes from
While I love, how they kept on improving on the design, got to say the red guns for the turrets need to go, I for one would love it if COBI would take their time and use some of the camo & paint scheme World of Warships did for KMS Bismarck & Tirpitz in their models,
I hate to be that guy 🤓but Bismarck is a rather overrated ship. The only reason the Brits deployed overwhelming forces to sink her is simply cause they could, the single Bismark was never going to be a threat to the largest Navy in the world, and Bismark was imo not the most impressive design out there, despite being the third heaviest BB class ever built, for example, she's comparable to the much smaller North Carolina and Nelson..
@@andresgagge6977 The Bismarck class was historically the fourth largest battleship. Bismarck/Tirpitz were also slightly smaller than the battleship Vanguard. Overall, despite its size, it was inferior in firepower and armor thickness to the King George V type.
@@waldek2303 indeed! I often forget Vanguard because of how late she was launched and how unfair the comparison is to Bismarck. I'm personally very impressed by the Warspite and Nelson class, smaller and much older ships that somehow proved to be more effective

7:55 How in the hell did you make that work. I've taken completely apart and redone that step five times and I still cant figure out how to get those parts to snap in place when there's clearly not enough room for the thickness of the 1x1. All the ones I have in my set would need to be half as thick for it to snap on? Getting pretty frustrated with this set...

I love how the stripes on the sides perfecly match with the bridge, when i bought it, i was very impressed about all of the super fine details

Remember in real life it took an entire fleet to sink the Bismarck shows how much the British Feared this ship

this is from Cobi not from Lego, it wouldn't be possible with Lego. Cobi has many of its own stones for this
