Lovely shots, beautiful visuals and most importantly, absolutely brilliant creativity. It will be one of the greatest KSP cinematic I'm ever going to see and I'm massively impressed by your grand work. People like you are the pillars of the KSP community!
Absolutely FANTASTIC film!!! Something about presumable being stranded, the crew hatching up a plan, and escaping using a vehicle thrown together with hard music playing is just an absolutely amazing recipe for a cinematic like this. I actually had something like this happen to me too; I greatly underestimated how much delta-V I needed, and did not have enough to get back into orbit. But like in the film, I stripped down the lander of what it didn't need, and sent it as far as I could. I even staged the engine and the tank using the welding tool, and used RCS for the final push. I brought the orbital module in close, docked with the lander can, and pushed it back into orbit before hitting the surface. Pretty cool somebody had the idea of making it into a cinematic like this; much cooler than mine, too.
Another great video! That's the most kerbal rover/ascent vehicle I've ever seen!
thank you!!
@@yukon09 >>> Talk about _"Being on a roll."_ 😉

Got strong "The Martian" vibes from this one, really showing of the astronaut spirit! 💪
Awesome work!

thank you so much for the kind words!
Epicness!
PS: the newest version of stock waterfall effects has improved realistic rcs plumes that also dont clip parts anymore. just FYI ;-)
glad you like it! i think i was using the older waterfall because i recorded this months ago and didn't finish editing until recently
Extremely epic bit of KSP Cinema, Nice one Yukon 😀
: D

I cannot describe how much of a masterpiece this is, I literally felt the goosebumps, and when they finally docked... Amazing!
Reminds me of ksp movies by Nassault, amazing
One if not the best ksp cinematic! This was insane, almost doesnt feel like Ksp anymore!
Puff monoprop engines with LqF-Ox engines! What sorcery is this?
Edit: 3:00 oh now i see, a Spark inside that Puff! Genius!
This is the most Kerbal rescue mission ever
Dude I built a crew transport almost the exact same way! Also good rover work.
Incredible work; I've been waiting for this for a very long time!
hopefully it was worth the wait!
Omg that rover rocket was a glorious idea
This is just phenomenal!❤
This is so good, so creative and very kerbal
That was super clean, great work!
cheers mate!
Nice work! Reminds me of "Jeb" by Nassault which is almost 10 years ago(!)
That's one of the most kerbal things i've ever seen.
this is the best ksp cinematic I've even seen: good job!
That was amazing! This is awesome! Came here from Jamie Logan Aerospace, definitely a good recommendation! Subbbbed!
Same
why does Sentry's Brunt fit the rover scene so well
i actually came up with this video after listening to sentry's brunt, it's mostly structured around that song
Beautifully filmed!
EPIC! Great story and great execution. Thank you.
This is awesome
This is fantastic!
Was wondering something: Where do you source / make the kerbal voices? Is it just from chatterer, or did you make them yourself?
thank you! some of the kerbal voices are from chatterer, and some of them are from reversed + pitched up Apollo 11 audio
Rage Rage against the dying of the light. ('Do not go gentle into that good night' by Dylan Thomas )
Truly Kerbal drama
Peak Kerbal Cinema
epic
Vibes of "Jeb" cinematic by Nassault for those old folks
that's half the inspiration for this video yeah
Love the use of "Blockade" at the end
sooo good video
Great video, and a very interesting idea! And what engine is that on the lander/rover? Kinda looks like the Puff, but it uses liquid fuel?
it was the puff with a twitch engine clipped inside
"rodger, lowering orbit." *proceeds to burn prograde*
great vid tho
it actually does burn retrograde i think but the camera angle makes it look like its going prograde
@@yukon09 oh ok thanks
this video is a great motivator to make some cool videos.
Beautiful editing
I love this!!
when one door closes, pick a nearby window and smash it open with brute force
Very cool!
Really cool idea!
i must admit i was inspired mostly by nassault's similar video as well
Wish i could do something like this
love it
no American craft has a fuel margin that large
but this is great
Space combat 7
Lunar’s unknown
You are from Yukon? I’m from bc.
man just mistook a rover for a rocket and it worked
Should've leaped a Starship, otherwise crazy idea
Great video but it is unrealistic as you remembered to bring parachutes.
whoops
You should be a director, not a KSP player! Serious Interstellar vibes!
thank you!!
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕Buy cool racket car🚙🚙🚙🚀🚀🚀🚀
gotta be one of the most american ways to leave the moon lmao
