Additional note I feel like including:
I used very short anticipation frames/poses (or completely omitted them) in some cases to try and add to the chaos and unpredictability of Amity's actions. She's a nervous mess and so she's naturally figidety and unpredictable.

I love seeing how things are made, and this came out super clean! I'm excited to see how you'll continue to grow and the projects you'll make in the future

This was really fascinating to see! I really appreciate your evaluation at the end; it sounds like you have a really great self-awareness of what you did well in the project and where you feel you can improve. I know that it's a bit cliché to say, but we're all definitely our worst critics and tend to notice little imperfections in our work that others don't. Drawing essentially a walking turnaround like you had to here has to be one of the more difficult endeavours in character animation out there, but Amity's walk cycle at the end honestly looks pretty great to me (although I guess you can take my opinion with a grain of salt; I found out the hard way in my last character animation class that I still have a whole lot of room for improvement when it comes to walk cycles, most saliently because I still need to get a better grasp on how neurotypicals walk; I only finished that class with an A by the skin of my teeth). I actually really like the way the follow-through and overlapping action on Amity's hair turned out overall, it was one of the first things I noticed when I watched the clip; I agree that you're a little constrained in some areas just because you have to stay true to the character design and the style of the show's animation. If it were a little too realistic, I think it'd likely be distracting from her expressions and mannerisms, which you obviously want to be the main focus for the audience. It would have been more work for the project than would have fit with your deadline, and maybe look a little too gross, but having a really small amount of fluid animation to show sweat dripping off and/or down her armpits might make it a little bit more obvious on her dark clothing. I feel like my most valuable takeaway from your suggestions to yourself for future projects is treating rough animation as its own stage to focus on getting the main motions right, and that leaving more work to the cleanup is actually a quicker and smoother process in the long run. I feel like I'm definitely someone who's easily tempted to get things just so right out of the gate when working on a creative project, I can easily get stuck obsessing over little details early on and end up having to rush the rest to meet a deadline (I once literally made a deadline by only around forty seconds). Thanks so much for sharing your process step by step like this, I feel like I learned a lot in just a few minutes! Best of luck in school, and in all your future adventures in animation!

These are great tips! As someone who is trying to improve their animation skills, I really appreciate the detail you included in this video.
Also, I never noticed how inconsistent Amity's design is! I've had a hard time figuring out how to draw her accurately, even in my own style, because I wasn't sure about which features to exaggerate. This helps a lot! Thank you!
Oh, and what software do you use for animation? It looks like it has a lot of useful tools!
